  5. I had my third fill 2 weeks ago. At first I could barely eat anything. I was barely able to even drink. I had to sip really slowly. After week 1, it gradually eased up. If I eat to fast it will get stuck but there are No real limitations on portions or what I can eat. Does this suggest I need another fill? Or maybe I stretched my stomach area above the band? Anyone have a similar experience?
  6. I agree. Graphs let you visualize your progress.
  7. I had surgery Jan 25th and I am down 26 lbs. I just had my third fill and it has definitely taken some adjustment in eating habits.
  8. Everyone on here is so inspiring.... Thanks you! I had surgery Jan, 25th and I am down 28 lbs. I still have another 100 to go but I feel great, people are starting to notice and this is the first time in over 7 years that I have been under 270 lbs. Keep up the good work everyone and thanks for all the inspiration!
  9. 40 lbs is awesome! I had surgery the same day and am down 25, my doctor says I am on track. You look great by the way... Congratulations!
  10. I guess I learned the hard way that you should follow instructions when you get a fill. Today was my 3rd fill. I'm up to 6 ccs. I know that your supposed to eat only liquids and soft food for 24 hours after the fill. I tried to eat some tofu that was soft and it came right back up. I am hoping this is just because I probably should have waited 24 hours to eat it. Has anyone else had any issues like this?
  11. Does anyone know what happens if you stretch your pouch? If I eat my small portions from here on out, I should be ok right?
  12. I like the quote! Thanks! Tomorrow is a new day. I will get myself back in track first thing!
  13. Thanks for the suggestions.... we all know How it is to over enduldge and then beat yourself up over the guilt of it. That is what I think part of my problem is. I was doing so good and then went and ate too much food.
  14. I am 4 weeks post op and have already had my first fill putting me at 3.8 cc's and I am gaining back everything I lost I'm hungry all the time. I just ate almost an entire chipotle burrito. Help Please I am so discouraged. Am I the only one that has had this problem?
  15. For me the pressure in my chest was gas pains. I called my doctor cause it was freaking me out. Every day it eased up more and now I am almost 3 weeks post op and the pressure is completely gone. I do still get pains in my shoulder when I eat though.
  16. Thanks. I know this is a time for healing not losing.... but it doesn't change the feeling of failing. You start to see this lbs dropping and you just don't want it to stop... especially when your eating right.
  17. I am almost 3 weeks post and lost 20 lbs but have gained back 4 of those I lost... it's so frustrating....
