Just got my call this morning! Oct 25th!

Thank you! I have my appt on oct 5th to get my frinks and then the following wed to go in for pre addmission testing.

So my surgery is scheduled for October 25th! I am so excited and nervous!!! Anyone else around the end of the month?

Great topic! I am not banded yet but i am very curious to see how my hubby will act once i lose the weight. He is not a jealous person. I feel like now he doesn't pay me enough attention. I feel hurt a lot of the time. I feel like we don't have the best marriage and our sex life sucks big time. I have noticed since i started eating better and lost 2lbs that he will tell me i don't have to go crazy just yet. Or tell me you can eat that, your not banded yet. Seems like he is already getting in secure. When i met him i was at my thinnest, so he knows what i can look like. I can't wait to see how our marriage changes. Hopefully for the better!

How many shakes do you have to drink after surgery? Or when you are on solids? I found something I Like for now but its only 15 grams of protein for 1 glass. 100 calories. It's a Jillan Michael's one

This is one of the best app's I ever got and It's free! It's called " Fooducate " it scores food and it even has a bar code. If You want to eat something and It's say a D You can click on " alternatives " and it will give you healthier options. Almost everything thing I scanned so far has came up. A must have!

I am wondering how you will do with the band? It's all about learning to eat correctly and following the Dr and nutritionalist's food plan.I really hope you do well but from your post it seems you haven't started off on the right foot. I always tried to go about things my own way and never listened to Dr's. It didn't get me very far. I wish you good luck on your journey but i do hope you will start listening to what your Dr tells you. Also, if you don't respect him ( ex: calling him stupid ) you may not have that support that you will need. You have to work with your Dr, be honest, and go to all your appointments. Good luck.

A few yrs back i started getting boils on my inner thighs. They became very painful and swollen. If i made a small hole w/ a needle it would drain out. It drained so much blood it was crazy! It instantly felt better though. When i would get them it hurt so bad when my thighs rubbed that i worn band aids over them. I haven't had one in a long time but they all scar'd. They are red/pinkish in color and like a small bump. A soft bump. Is this from being overweight? I even went to the ER once for it b/c it hurt so bad. They took a sample to biopsy and it came back normal. I hate all these scars! Anyone have them too?

Wow, this makes me so nervous. My hair is thin already! Well, i went out and bought Biotin 10,000mg 1x day. I am getting a lot of protein in too. Haven't had surgery yet. What is flaxseed oil for? What is essential 1? Just tell me what to take and i will get it all! LOL

I have been reading a lot about people losing hair and that makes me very nervous. I had 2 car accidents in the past and had lots of injections. Due to that my hair started thinning. Now my hair in the front is pretty thin ( thankfully I don't look bald and It's not super noticeable ) but I am very insecure about it. What can I do/take now or after surgery to not lose hair? Hi, everyone. I am going to buy a new pair of sneakers tomorrow and I need some suggestions. Right now I have a pair of Fila " shape ups " when I first got them they were the best. Now though my feet hurt so bad when I walk. I know most of its due to the weight I gained in the last 4 mths ( quit my battle with cigarettes ) there are so many out there. How do I decide aside from trying them all on!
