Advice my sister gave me years ago after my first divorce "if he was any different you would still be married to him" she was so correct, Twenty years later and I still shake my head at some of the things that comes out of his mouth.

  9. Lady, when I had my lap band seven years ago, my surgery was over 2 hours away too. Hubby litteally made sure I lived through the surgery and went back home and then picked me up two days later. I was all alone. But I did fine. And it meant more to me for him to be home with the kids then to sit by my bedside so it worked out. But I sure do understand your fears and apprehension.

  14. I am still pre op but I think my time for the head hunger will be late in the evening. It is now, Like when the house is quiet and everyone is in bed, I want to raid the kitchen and eat things I know I shouldn't. I have been doing a lot better the past few months, but I just know that is when the head hunger will rear its ugly head.
  15. Hey Lady, what crystal said, You are doing this for your babies. You will do great. But I think it is normal to have all the feelings you are having. Just don't dwell in one thought place for any length of time. Start dwelling in the happy thoughts and how much fun you are going to have with those sweet babies when you have your health back.

  23. Yeah your Hubby. Don't blame him. I have watched some of the people preparing for and right after, I have avoided the horror stories. I know they exist. And I truly feel so bad for those that this goes so wrong for. But I am just rolling the dice that this surgery brings me better health instead of anything worse, How I feel now and the way I am NOT living, is a horror story in itself, so I will take the chance and hope and pray for the best. I ground you from you tube too, lol. Stay strong.
  24. welcome, wishing you the best. You will find lots of support and information here. Ask and share away.
