My journey started in June 2012 with a seminar. I had my first appointment with the surgeon Aug. 3rd. The month of Aug and Sept were all my psych, nutrition appts, and my medical clearance. I had my educational classes in October. Now I am just waiting to hear about

approval. They sent in my paperwork November 6th and should take 2-2 1/2 weeks for approval. Fingers crossed I can have surgery in the beginning of December. There is no liquid diet in the program, I have lost 9 pounds already and the surgeon would like 6 - 11 pounds more. I have been reading post for awhile and this looks like a good support while going through the motions.

Good luck to you wish you the very best on your new life my appt went very well today next week I will be getting a call to make all my test and out of the way and I just started the beginning of this mo I have at least till May before I can do it but before I know it May will be here but I don't think I want it done till June so I can spend the summer with my kids lol best wishes to you and your family
