I live in palm bay and I was banded yesterday.

I wish you speedy recovery. I got banded yesterday too, and hernia repair done also. I got home at 1 pm yesterday. I also woke up in severe pain at the hospital, but walkmg from bathroom to the hospital bed helped. They didn't keep men overnight or did any other GI test. Still in pain and hurts to sit, get up, laydowm and getting up from laying down hurts a lot. I felt the stomach and incision area to be tight this morning.

Was anyone else asked to take deep breath and try to cough, so you don't catch pneumonia? It hurts to cough though. Also is the incision and stomach area tight in the morning? Mine feels tight. I had my surgery dorm yesterday.

Thank you guys for the words of encouragement. I was able to sleep and lay down on the couch, and needed help to get out of thee couch. It hurts to get up... The stomach or the incision area feels tight or it could be bc i haven't moved around for a while. Have up guys felt that?

I was banded today along with hiatial hernia repair. Woke up with lot of pain, but it's better now as I try to walk as much as I can. Have hard time sleeping/laying down on the couch.

187 pounds. -4 pounds. Goal for sept met! Weighed in early bc I was banded today.

Sadly all of them and emotional snacker. If I was nervous or anxious then I couldnt eat.

I just got banded today and haven't had that feeling. When did it started? Call your DR to let them know.

Where is everyone?

I put heating pad on my shoulder.

I am so glad to be home. Got home around 1 pm. The hospital is a 5 star place and everyone was great. I have no gas but woke up with lot of pain. Walking around as much as I can, sleeping as much as I can, and sipping on Water. How long does the abdomen pain last?

Thank you guys. It went great and the hospital is a 5 star hospital. Everyone was great and I have no gas whatsoever. However, when I woke up from the surgery I was in lot of pain. I still am in lot of pain but less than before. Walking around and sleeping on the recliner and sipping water.

Can't wait to be on the other side. Wish me luck guys. Good luck to my fellow bandstander who are going I today also!

I can't sleep! I have to wake up in 4 hours to get to the hospital at 5:30. Yikes.
