  1. water, water ,water swelling swelling swelling all this is going on so the scale wont move until all this is under control and that takes healing. You will get there, this part is tough because we all want to start seeing the loss it will happen but not for awhile heal first.
  2. You need to complain to the office manager at least. Hang in there and ask all your question here at least we have all been doing it and probably can give your better imformation. So sorry your doctor didn't help you more.
  3. you do not have enough in your band most of us have our band just over half full and find it very comfortable to maintain..I have a 10cc/6.5cc in it for the last few mons and I am down 57lbs in 6 mos I am so pleased with my band. I am never hungry and food doesn't call me any more I find it easy to say no or take a very small taste of something I plan. You should not be hungry at this point. He works for you and tell him you want 1 cc fills till you aren't hungry for 4-5- hours on one cup of food that is what the bsand is built for..if not change doctors.
  4. call your doctor and see when you can get another fill. People slippage doesn't happen that easily so don't blame the band all the time...get your fills, talk to your doctors, and record all your food...and be good to yourself this works.
  5. I am 6 mos out and down 57 lbs and feel great lots of painful joint pain gone, back pain gone, I look down at my body and cant believe what I see (with close on) it takes time so keep working on it. I keep telling myself "I've never been this low" "I've never been able to stay on a diet this long" and that has kept me going. 33 lbs to go and I cant remember when I have ever been this close to goal weightI I love losing weight now, its exciting and the scale moves in the right direction.... You'll do it just keep working it takes time and it does work.
  6. r u nut?lol you are doing great keep up the good work 2 lbs a week is good more is fantastic...u go girl
  7. wow what a time you are having I am so sorry and hope things clear up very soon. Could you sock your foot to get the bandage off? hope so, think you wouldn't have as much pain.
  8. when you can go 4-5 hours without the need to eat. I don't really get hungry anymore not like I use to and I don't hear food calling me. Give it 2 wks and see how u feel...the advarage on here seems to be just over half the size of your band 10cc/6.5cc is great for me right now.
  9. As long as you can go . with a meal for 4 hours your doctor probably wont do a fill he will tell you to eat slower and get all ypur liquids in. The weight you are not losing is most likely just water and a good BM will help that a lot. Do what you can for excerise like walk around the house a bit more. hope thing get better real soon
  10. promethazine hci 25mg works great for me I always have on hand med's sometime upset my stomach. hope you feel better soon.
  11. I had to et insurance ok b4 all other appointments but each insurance is different good luck with everhting.
  12. great isn't it fun now to loss weight? it actually works.
  13. water weight sweetie that's what the body does as long as it goes back down u r ok.
  14. Wow sorry for your pain we are all different and for most of us the band is wonderful for some its just not the thing...hope your doctor has some answers for you and you feel better soon.
  15. Intersting question I don't do future thinking to much you could scare yourself from life. if I don't lose weight I will die from complication for sure. This is something you need to talk to your doctor about .would have the experience with long term care
  16. You still have to do the work. Its not suppose to stop ypu from eating but make the opening from streghting so the never gets the message thst you are eating and tells your brain you are satisfied on one cup of food. This helps you start on a food plan not do the work for you. Follow the plan your doctor set up and the weight will come off if not you will remain where u are. Good luck its hard work at times
  17. its doesn't slip that easy it take a lot of vomiting to do that...soups, soft foods will do it
  18. this is just a healing time you have no restriction yet. The band is not working for your yet. The noise you hear we all o aftr surgery the tummy, colon, instistine all are recovering. just rest and heal the work starts in 4-6 wks so learn to sip and eat very very slowly.
  19. take a sinus pill for the drip and see how it goes.
  20. sounds like you need to adjust the foods ypu are eating u should have lost more then 40 lbs in 18 mos. track it and take it into the doctor to see where you could change it.. beagles???really many of us don't or cant eat bread. Good luck and I hope you find what works for you
  21. I have and consister it a stuck issue a message to chew better, smaller bits or this is not the right food to eat...its the band helping u well at least me...
