  1. I am so freaked out right now...I'm only 7 weeks post op and just found out I'm pregnant. I emailed my dr but haven't heard back. I was not planning this at all and we think I may have gotten preggers just before the surgery. I know my dr had me sign something about waiting 18 months...truth is we were done having kids and I never thought this would happen. I just don't know what to do. Any sleeves out there pregnant so soon after surgery? Any input?
  2. Thank you ladies for your words of encouragement and suggestions. I think this morning was just one of those "ugh" days. . I will try and stay positive. Have a great weekend everyone!
  3. My goal weight is 160...and I have read that also...I will keep working at it...but it is a little discouraging seeing others that have lost over 30 lbs or more. I just have to remember everyone is different
  4. Thank you! I am trying to do the same and I also have a protein shake for breakfast I will try and take in less calories.
  5. I am 5 weeks post op and since last night I've felt like I've got food stuck in my throat....I was fine after I ate dinner, then about an hour later it hit me...how often did this happen to you and how long did it last? I thought for sure by morning the feeling would be gone.
  6. So I am about 5 1/2 weeks post op and I have only lost 23 lbs...beginning to get frustrated. I'm only eating about 800 calories, and I am exercising almost everyday. I started at 241, 239 day of surgery and I'm only at 216 today. Not sure what I'm doing wrong? Anyone else out there losing slowly? Any suggestions or ideas? Thanks in advance
  7. I'm 5 weeks post op and am also about a week late. Freaking out just a little. Lol. I have seemed to be losing very slowly also....maybe retaining Water? I'm not sure what's goin on either...it seems everyone is different. Hopefully you start soon and hit that 20lbs!
  8. I've also had middle back pain...at first thought it was because I wasn't drinking enough water. But not sure what it is.....I'm 4 weeks post op. :/
  9. When can you stop sipping from a medicine cup? I'm 16 days post op and still having a hard time taking a normal size drink?
  10. Your so lucky! I'm on day 15 and still no puréed foods yet...have to wait til the 20th when I see my doc.
  11. I'm one week post op and I feel the same when trying to get my protein down or jello...as soon as I burp I'm a little better. But I also have this weird feeling....not pain but discomfort in stomach and now my back....gas pains still?? Anyone else have this slight discomfort after drinking??
  12. Is it jus me or do they get worse at night??
  13. Hi. I had the revision to the sleeve on 10/31 and I too feel pretty blah and just want to sleep. I think every day gets better. You are not alone. What I am hating right now are the gas pains.
  14. Just got home today...was sleeved on Halloween.
  15. I was sleeved 10/31 and just got home today with the worst gas pains and I have this sore on my mouth that wasn't there before surgery...nurse says its a canker sore from stress but I don't think so. I'm going to try gas x and pray that helps with the pains. Cannot pass gas either and I've been walkin with no relief. I felt like I was making a mistake also but I believe we made the right choice.
  16. Any one sleeved on Halloween too? I'm still in the hospital-day 1 and doing pretty good. Some upper gas pains but not too bad.
  17. I am in Fresno also. Dr Juarez is my dr.
