That's what my dad and hubby said too. I do already drink a protein shake but they think I need more. Maybe I will have to try it.- Pregnancy and daily calories
Hi! I'm 24 weeks post op and 23 weeks pregnant. Me and baby so far are doing good. But my question is: how many calories should I be consuming daily? I read online that normal pregnant woman should eat an extra 200 or more calories a day but that's based on 2000 cal. What about us sleevers? I feel like I'm struggling to get in 900 and I also read that a girl who was sleeved only ate about 800-900 and her baby was very small and born a premie. Any advice?? thanks- 4 months post op and preggo!
Hi! I'm in my 23rd week and my baby boy is doing good! So far he is right on target and he gets checked monthly for size and weight gain. So thankful everything is going good. It was scary at first. Now to keep praying his weight gain continues. as for me I've only gained about 6lbs and haven't lost any so I think I'm doin ok.- Only 7 wks post op & pregnant.

Wow!! That's amazing. I haven't lost a single pound but have only managed to gain 5 lbs but that's ok with me. I'm used to gaining 30 plus pounds. Glad to hear that the baby is doing well. What was your starting weight? I've been told that because I was almost where I wanted to be that that's the reason I didn't continue to lose.- Only 7 wks post op & pregnant.
It depends on the person. I stopped losing almost as soon as I found out. But I maintained my weight the first two and half months and just now started gaining. So far only 5 lbs. dr says as long as the baby is gaining I'm ok. I do have a few extra ultra sounds to check his weight and so far so good. I have been told that many do continue to lose. I still exercise also- Only 7 wks post op & pregnant.
So excited!! We just found out its a boy! he is healthy and perfectly normal and right on target. I have only gained 5 lbs in 18 weeks and dr says I'm doing well and so is baby. We have only one other boy and had tried 3 more times to have another and not even trying and we got him. So yes god does have his plans and I'm so grateful for them. thank you guys for all your kind words and support.- Only 7 wks post op & pregnant.

Hi we are both doing well. I am now 16 weeks and have had 2 ultrasounds just make sure all is well. I am finally eating a decent amount and I don't feel like I'm starving my lil one anymore and I am not gaining excessively either. So far I've only gained 4 lbs which both doctors are please with.- Hi sry but realy im too much afried i just now discover im pregnant 2 month after sleeve 3 month old its okk or what
Hi! I'm 11 weeks post op and 11 weeks pregnant. You will be fine. Not ideal and not the best timing but you will ok. I had my first ultrasound last week and baby is healthy and moving around happily. See your ob as soon as you can.- Only 7 wks post op & pregnant.
Well I am now 11 weeks pregnant and baby and I are both doing fine. I have lost a few pounds but only about 6 which is good. Eating is a struggle to get all my protein in and try to eat veggies and fruits that baby needs. I had my first ultrasound to make sure baby is fine and thank god baby is good. We will be monitored closely but just as a precaution. Morning sickness was rough at first but is calming down. I go in next week to see both the doc and will have more to report then. thank you to everyone with your kind words and thoughts!- 4 months post op and preggo!

Thank you!!- Weight After Pregnancy
Hi I just found out that I'm pregnant last week. I'm 8 weeks post op and 8 weeks preggers. Scary thought for me. But I'm glad to see that you all are doing well with the pregnancies. I am having very bad morning sickness not something new. I always have it but not this bad. Almost every time I eat I vomit. I can't get my protein in and I'm barely getting enough water. How long did morning sickness last for you guys and what did the dr's say? I always feel like food is stuck or gonna get stuck in my throat then I don't eat much and then vomit. anyone else have these feelings?- Only 7 wks post op & pregnant.
I spoke with my sleeve dr and he reassured me that the baby will be fine, I see my ob this week and she says everything will be fine as well. I am feeling much better about the situation, not ideal but if this is meant to be, it's meant to be. I believe things happen for a reason...- 4 months post op and preggo!
Hi, I'm 8 weeks post op and 8 weeks pregnant. I was very scared and stressed out all last week...spoke to my dr and he has reassured me that no harm will come to my baby and that I will be ok. Yes it's not planned and is ideal to wait...obvisiously...but things do happen. Yes there are options available if you choose them and yes some pregnancies may not be viable. I have made my choice to continue my pregnancy and if its not meant to be so be it. But if you ever need to talk please feel free to message me. There are some that are not supportive on here and may come off as rude, but I am here if you need to talk.- Only 7 wks post op & pregnant.
