i dont have a fill but i eat as though i do...
i am very aware of what i eat (the type foods) and the amounts.
i know 3500 cals is a pound...and because i am not a marathon runner, i am careful to not take in more cals then i burn off..i also stop eating at 1 cup of food and i eat lean Protein, veggies and fruit. if i eat it, its gonna be filling.
as missy stated, you eat over 3500 cals a day and dont burn it off, you will gain or not lose..fill or no fill...just my opinion.

I didn't have a pre-op diet either. I wish you the best. We all fall short of what we are supposed to do at some point. Just remember that your doctor is telling you based on his experience and being dishonest with your doctor is also Wong dishonest with yourself. I started to eat soft foods a few days ahead of time and stopped losing weight. I realized that was God reminding me that I made a commitment to Him and myself to improve my temple. Don't let anyone discourage you...you will be successful because we all fall down and that doesn't matter as long as we learn from it and get back up! GOOD LUCK

Well just got banded this afternoon. I didn't follow the 2 week shake only diet. I kept my daily calories under 1500 cals I had carbs Protein etc...... doc said my liver looked amazing. I ma he stupid but I'm happy I didn't torture myself.

Lets see I took ipad, socks, nice comfy pillow, gas x strips, comfy elastic pants and a comfy loose shirt for the ride home. I'm from Monroe Louisiana but my surgery was done in Fresco TX. So I had a long ride home. Good luck and God Bless on your surgery, stay calm and you'll be fine! Oh yeah I had my mom run to the store to get me chap stick my lips were extra dry after surgery and toiletry items.

Sorry i really really Hate to say it but I think she is cheating and u should get a DNA test on the child .that's just way too weird to me.:-/

I hear ya, bad chest/shoulder pains due to gas but I was able to go walking today to try and work it out I just got banded Friday and I'm trying to go all out and be as successful as everyone on here!!! Stay positive!! Today was my first day on this site and it's the best!! Keeps you motivated and when you think it's bad there's a group of people here that know exactly what your goin through!!!
