I agree with above. Most bands are laproscopic. Had to be a scare tactic. Stomach had strong acid in it. Two days is too long to remain recognizable. Now they may have nicked the stomach during laptop due to the food in it, then patient confirmed eating the fries and burger.

Depends on surgery and any complications. I found I felt good 6 days out, but over did it and was beat tired. I think u have to listen to your body and pocketbook. If you can afford to br off longer u might consider it.

I agree with 2muchfun. However it can cause acid reflux. That will differ from person to person.

I found prilosec made acid worse I had them change mine. Over time your body can reject certain meds. You may just need to find another and cycle thru when issues occur.

Doctors scare people with tales of complications. I do agree the post op diet shrinks the liver by throwing the body into ketosis. But if it was really a concern for liver size I would think they would reject people over xxxxx weight. As you get larger so does the liver. I didn't stray from diet but cant blame one who did. All liquid is terrible torture.

The liquid diet is worse than the fiery pits of Hades. But it is all for a noble cause. On the positive side, how much have u lost?

I had mine done on 8/7. I was approved to move to soft foods today. Feels like just yesterday I was on the hospital. Again good luck a lot of sunshine on the other side to look forward too.

Talk to the Dr. A lot of mess have oral solution ir powder alternative options. Fda requires it for some mess.

I heard some patients never need an adjustment. That the restriction from the band is enough. With a good doctor I would hope u get to provide input.

Liquids are interesting. I thought mine was having issues too. But it makes sense. Liquids go straight thrum to full stomach. So have to avoid high calorie drinks.
