    Time Off From Work

I had my band placed on Tuesday. I am feeling better but still uncomfortable. How long is reasonable to be off work? I have disability coverage so length is not an issue. I just don't want to abuse or go back too soon. I have an active job that requires long hrs with lots of movement, changing of positions. I also will have trouble getting breaks when I go back to eat a small bite.

    Time Off From Work

Right now I am targeting 3 weeks. I am hoping this doesn't appear to long. I know from a few days ago that fatigue just hits. And I cant rule out 10 to 12 hr days when I return. I once had to work 32 hrs straight.

    Very Emotional Today :(

Keep your head up it all works out in the end. Just stay focused on the goal. You already made great progress by deciding ti get the surgery. That takes faith and strength.

So Sad For My Daughter :(

The insurance should be able to provide you with gap coverage. Basically since she is so far away they should approve a doctor out of network that is close to her school. You would have to call them to inquirer.

    Help!!

If it swathe night before they would reschedule you. As it is three days away you will probably be ok. But I recommend you tell your doctor first thing on Monday.
  9. Amazon13 must not have been educated enough in life to read. He can spell great, but somehow the fact this is a "support " group got past them.
  10. Ask them to do a local anethesia to numb the spot before they place iv. Also tell them you are scared of needles and they are usually nicer.
  11. Had my band put in on Tuesday. Been great so far. Main issue was post op, gas pain. And to all the spel chkers out there lay off the guy.
