I have met with 2 trainers recently and both are telling me I need to increase my calories if I am going to work with them. My Dr has me at 1000 and they want me to go up to 1200-1500. Who do I listen to? What did your trainers have you do?

Has anyone had trouble this last week with the Fitbit and MFP syncing? If so do you have a fix for it?

I am at 8 months and have not been able to lose for about the last 3 months. I am happy that I have not gained but want to continue losing. I even bought a new scale thinking or hoping mine was broke . I am still very good at keeping track of everything I eat but still no luck. Not giving up and hope you don't either!

I have seen on this thread that many people sleeved around the same time as me have hit a stall. Have any of you started losing again and if so what did you do to get it going again? I have increased my exercise, Water, and calories but still nothing!! I am not gaining either just no change at all...any suggestions please

Hello Everyone ,
I was sleeved on August 21, 2012 . My start weight was 243 and I'm now done to 188. I am so disappointed with myself as I have not lost weight in 2 months. I'm so frustrated and don't know if this is normal to go this long with out losing. Any one out there in the same situation ??
I was sleeved the day before you started at 223 noe 170 and haven't lost for 2 months also need to go back to no carbs but that will be so hard again just need to motivate myself
I am right there with you. I was sleeved on Aug 28 and have also not lost for about 2 months. I even did a 3 week exercise bootcamp that totally kicked my butt and nothing was lost. At my 5 month follow-up I was told to keep doing what I am and not to worry...easy for them to say but they did explain to me that the average is to lose up to 70% of our weight within 2 years and that in 5 months I am at 52% so I was told I am ahead of the game. Any suggestions to break this stall would be very helpful...I plan on getting to the 100% mark of weight lose.

Hi and yes I have had that somewhat...the more my diet increased like new foods being added the easier it is too get off track. I really have to stick to a schedule and also plan my meals for the whole day the night before so that I am not tempted. 60 # is great so don't lose sight of the big rewards. Right now I am losing very slowly and it is very discouraging but I just joined a bootcamp at the gym for the next 4 weeks so hopefully that help to get the weight coming off again

I just bought the Natures Made new Mini's and they are working great...they are the only ones I have been able to stand and they are smaller. Target and costco both have them.

Wow so awesome! You must be feeling so great!!!

Not sure this helps but when I look at my daily summary it list my carbs on there.

I was sleeved thru Kaiser Southern CA. My PCP sent a referral to Bariactric Dept and then the process was started. Had an orientation then started 12 weeks of classes. Had to attend a support group and the NUT appt and physc appt.

Tomato Soup has been my favorite thing to have...has just enough spice. Started pureed foods today so I got to have some refried Beans

I have had both and have had almost no pain with the sleeve. 1st couple of days in the hospital I did use the morphine pump but I think the pain was more from trying to get in and out of bed than the actual surgery. Once home i didn't need it anymore.

HI EmmyEm...
There is a group on this forum called SoCal VSG Support Group and one of the members came and spoke at my options class with Kaiser...she was a real motivatation! Her name on her is Sleeve 4 Me...contact her and I am sure she can give you all the details. I do know they meet this Sat at 10:00am in the food court at Victoria Gardens

Best of luck and wish you a speedy recovery!!

Curious when you decided to weigh for the first time after surgery? Today has been 1 week and I am afraid to get on the scale...don't want any disappointment. Thinking about waiting until follow-up with surgeon but that's not for 2 more weeks.....

Just checking in to see how everyone is feeling...hope you are all having a speedy recovery!! For me each day has been better and today I actually got dressed and went for a ride with my husband for awhile...it was nice to get off the couch Nothing really taste good but I think that maybe a good thing. I was sleeved on Aug 27th.

I got it figured out and it was recording correctly...my activity level had slowed down and it was still recording I just wasn't active enough for it to increase my calories. Once I stepped it up it started recording calories burned again.
