    My 1St Roadblock

Sorry about that, but I think everything would work out just fine. the cardiology appointment was the hard for me to get. I called at the end of July and the first available appointment was just in mid of September. so it's just 1 week before my surgery.

    Rating Protein Shakes

Hmm why none is using Atkins shakes? I am using them now Atkins advantage 15g Protein 1g sugar and 160 cal. I like them especially with coffee. Are they bad? I also bought Isopure low carb alpine punch, I tried it warm and don't' like it put in the fridge so hope will be better as cold. I was told that this one I would drink first week after surgery because it is clear liquid. for pre op diet my doctor want me to buy MediFast shakes. Didn't order them yet, but when I will I will let you know about taste.

20% Regain Weight After 2 Years

My MD said that everything depend on you. If you cannot hold yourself you will gain everything back because as soon as you start feeling good you will allow more and more forbidden food and will start eat more and end up with gaining back all weight. but it you learn how to eat healthy and always would remember how hard you get to that weight point it will stop you from bite of this and bit of that and you would be able to maintain the weight.

    Funny How Things Work...

this is great news. I hope my cardiac doctor would do the same this is my last appointment now in mid September.
  6. I don't think you need to postpone the surgery. I even think you need to go for that. base on the age your kids are big and all of them including your husband can take care of themselves. I think now is time for you. you need to be healthy to take care of them later on. about recovery, I think you will be able to do it on your own, but I am sure your girls would help.

    I Was So "disappointed"

I like this tread. I am waiting for a day when i can tell the same story. but now I am still in my 22w-24w pants ( depend on the brand) and have whole bag of nice clothes from size 16-20 from my previous diet victories. I doubt that I would go below 12 but even 12 so far look a miracle to me.

the scale number actually depend on the floor. we always assume that floor is flat but it is not true. try to move the scale and weight again. I found 3 places in my bathroom where scale shows different numbers. I just choose one which sound more true and always put it there to get weight.
