    Lemons And Weightloss

Girls to continue this subject. I found another interesting article about honey and loose weight. "Natural honey when taken prior to bed is believed to be able to fuel the liver, speed up fat-burning metabolism, ease stress hormones and help us get a better night's sleep. This oldest natural sweetener also contains a wide variety of Vitamins, including vitamins B6, B1, B2 and B5, and minerals such as Calcium, copper, Iron, magnesium, manganese, phosphorous, potassium, sodium and zinc, anti-oxidants and amino acids, the building blocks of Proteins." the full article is here: http://www.benefits-...ation-diet.html just wonder if we can eat honey after surgery? and how far after?

    So Gosh Darn.. Emotional!

It wasn't long it was from your heart. and I understand your feeling. my scheduled date is September 7 and I am going as a tank to make this day real. and I am emotional only if something is done not my way ( funny right) I can cry when cardiac doctor didn't give me the clearance after 1st appointment. Now I am scared of denial and my surgeon still didn't sent the paper to insurance company and they were ready 2 weeks ago.... don't know why. hope they knows what they are doing.....

    Lemons And Weightloss

Thank you for your post. I found online this as well from http://www.benefits-...-and-lemon.html mix one teaspoon of raw honey (unheated) with the juice of two teaspoons of lime or lemon juice in a glass of room temperature or lukewarm Water (not boiling water!). Take this remedy as a wake-up drink once in the morning on a empty stomach. Also commonly taken after a big and oily meal, this simple delicious tonic is an effective digestive and detox tonic. And of course, in every successful weight loss program, do bear in mind that principles such as forming healthy eating habits and diets, and keeping to a regular exercise regime over the long run are extremely important as well.
  8. Just want to update you guys on my result. Finally after 1 week and a lot of phone calls Dr call me and said that my stress test look good and nuclear pictures of the heart are perfect. SO she will send the letter to my Surgeon for my Cardiac clearance. YEA!!!! I still need to follow up tomorrow that Dr office get it but I think after that I am done with all my appointments except ultrasound.
  9. Guys, I went to my Cardiac clearance today and it was much stressful to me then any other appointments. When I got off the office I was ready to cry. They told me that I need to have nuclear stress test and after that have an follow up with cardiologist. The problem is the next appointment for cardiac doctor available only on September 7. and I almost fight to get test next week. I told them that I have surgery in September and they just said that they will put me on cancellation list....... So now I am worried why they order me that test? what to expect from that. Can it be the stopper for my surgery??

    Common Practice?

For me it look like this practice is out of network on your insurance and you have 80/20% coverage out of network. this is why you need to pay deductible (only if you didn't pay that before this year) and you need to pay them 20%. Call your insurance and ask if this Doctor and hospital in network with your insurance.
  11. I had doctor appointment this Thursday and I asked him what is my weight goal from his point of view and I was very disappointing with answer I am 5'7" and my weight in the ticket below. he told me that I can expect to loose 80 lbs with sleeve, might be 100lb but he doubt it. and I was a bit shocked. I need to loose at least 100 but better 120. and now I feel like I fail even before staring. he said if I want to loose more I need to do bypass. and I don't want to do this. Why is he ruin my dream?

    Weight Goal, I Am Upset

Thank you. I understand. but if he said something like that:" everyone is different and it depend on you how much you loose. I would say let do the first goal of 80lb to loose and review it after that." the same number but sound differently....

    Weight Goal, I Am Upset

This is exactly why I was unpleasantly surprised. I read a lot of post and see how people can changed. I am very stubborn girl so after my appointment I just thought that now I need to prove that he is wrong I can go to my 160lbs dream and might be even beyond that. I just think that all information can be said 2 way. one way give you hope another make you disappointing.

so as I understand they knew that you had surgery and what kind of surgery? If yes , I am not sure who is more disrespectful. Sorry about that... Just try to ignore. I usually if I don't want to eat take the glass of water and seat at the table but if food bother me I will leave. ( I don't have a surgery yet.)

    And The Survey Says.....

Hi, I didn't have surgery yet. but beside age I have the same starting point as you are. So When I did my research I turn away lapband from the start. and decided to do the sleeve. I don't want to do by pass. I even think that my Surgeon wouldn't let me do this. when he ask what I want to do I told him sleeve and he said that this is good choice. Talk to your surgeon and ask him what he think.

    Cookware For Wls Folks

I didn't have the surgery yet but thinking about this as well. I like to cook myself and hope that I would be able to do so couple days after surgery even though I cannot eat it yet but I will cook for kids and husband. so my new addition to my kitchen was new food steamer. so I can cook there without using oil a lot. and even when I can eat puree and mashes I can do fish there and just use blender to blend it. I have http://www.amazon.co...d=ATVPDKIKX0DER they are good. I bought they originally to do Creme brulee. and I like your option on Rachel ray. I probably end up with some of them as well.
