  1. Oh my, I don't know if it's my age (headed ing to 50) but this neck gets more wrinkly by the day. I recall my ex who had bypass having a neck like mine but it seems like it went away. Will mine? I have to admit I get satisfaction seeing my turkey neck. It tells how far I've come. But I'd also like it to at the least lessen or go away!
  2. I'm going to give my surgery center a call Tommorow and see what they think. I have (had) very big arms, I can deal with the loose skin there. But just the whole tummy thing drives me crazy! I'd look SO different with it removed. Do you mind me asking how many lbs they removed from your tummy? Thank you for your input! I appreciate it!!!
  3. My surgery comes with a bonus tummy tuck. I was told 1 year or 100 lbs. It's almost 10 months and I've lost 112 lbs. I look much smaller than I actually am it's just this butt in the front dropping loose skin of a stomach. I could wear 2 sizes smaller if it was gone. I am probably going to lose another 40-50 lbs. I'm active. Should I wait to goal or look into getting scheduled? It would be a definite morale boost and incentive.
  4. I had mine last April. At month 9 I have lost 112 lbs and about 3 1/2 foot of inches...basically a fifth grader, lol.
  5. Ah it's probably fat melting lol!
  6. Lol. I had a coffee with cream only from McDonald's on the way home from the hospital! Look into buying sugar free syrups online, davinci is one, Torani's another. Davinci has TONS of flavors. They probably have pumpkin spice.

  10. Here's a thought. How about putting in the header "explicit" and save the color commentary for the post.
  11. I come here to read valuable information not to get a pornographic title shoved in my face. Seriously? Take it to another forum. Don't demean this page. Administrators, please remove it. It's HIGHLY offensive.
  12. Um not reading this the title scarred me for life. Is there somewhere different this post can go? Not something I even want to read the title of. Sheesh.
  13. I've used almost EVERY lip balm! Everyone said, get the OCS, I think it is. Crap. Just on a lark I found this stuff, in a little pot. Absolutely superior to ANYTHING I've ever used and only a $1.49. Stays on for hours and works like a charm. I only have to apply it once or twice a day. Lypsyl is the name. It has a very light yellow pot with a green top.
  14. That just recently happened to me. I was doing a ton of walking/hiking. I didn't lose but gain! What??? Eventually I had a significant drop (17 lbs in a month) hit wonderland but than gained a pound. Been holding for a couple days. It's frustrating but keep on doing what you're doing!!!
  15. Soccer socks. Best sock ever to wear under jeans! They come at least to your knee. I have fleece pj pants but I put a light weight pair on under them. My hands are always cold. Thank God for hoodies with pockets. I have a few times in the last month wore a tee, hoodie, wool coat, and another heavy duty coat over the wool coat. I look like the pillsbury dough boy but hey! I'm warm. I also wear 2 pair of gloves. Mind you I'm in an area where we can have subzero weather.
  16. SO normal. I'm not going to even elaborate with details! Don't fret. This too shall pass.
  17. I wasted a good $20 bill on a new pair of jeans at the end of summer. Yesterday they looked ridiculous! If it weren't for the belt... I'll stick with used for the most part. However I got a gift card to my favorite department store. I think I'll buy clothes to get into in the future on clearance. Everything that was in the pile of "not quite yet" fit or are too big. Such problems. I have a couple totes full of clothes to go to a consignment shop.
  18. I used to order the biggest burger and everything that comes with a meal at Burger King. Went there last week. I ordered a whopper junior. I took the bun (thickest part) off one side and I ate half. A few hours later, I ate the other half. I only do this once in awhile.
  19. I follow the Atkins approach. I don't eat low fat. I do however avoid sugar. I don't have an issue with sugar free products, they keep me sane. I've never believed in low fat diets, they just made me hungry. Fat satisfies. Now I don't eat much of it but I don't try to eliminate it either. My stats are BW 312 CW 199 Total pounds lost 112 to date 9 mths post op VSG...whatever I'm doing seems to be working.
  20. You look GREAT!!! C'mon newbies, it's ALL worth it! I know it's hard to see the big picture! The frustration after surgery, the pain, the stalls, the hair loss all of it...and I'm only 9 mths post op! You CAN get thru it and conquer. I'd do it all again, no doubt. V
  21. W O W!!! So beautiful'. I was April 7th. Wtg girl!!!amazing progress!
  22. Oh yes!!! I don't feel like the same person! I couldn't walk a couple blocks a year ago. 2 weeks ago I walked/hiked 34 miles in a week! ME!!!
  23. 199!!! I haven't seen that number in 12 years!!! WOOOWHOOO!!!
  24. It's pretty amazing, thank you!
