  1. Behind you...lol. Good advice, thank you!
  2. Will a tummy tuck correct to some degree the mass of wrinkles once known as my backside?
  3. I like flat pop. In particular I love diet A&W, flat. As long as I stir the carbonation out of it to have a cup a day, what's the big deal?
  4. I have MS and I've been stable for 2 years up until a month ago. Vertigo and falling into walls, chairs etc. haven't hit the floor yet cuz I try to just cruise into a counter or wall. I had 2 c sections that go all the way to my belly button. Because I've lost almost 120 lbs that area is getting really saggy. I don't feel well at all. I just discovered my 25 year old section scar and belly button is infected and it smells horrendous. I don't know what to do? I have peroxide, I guess I'll try that. Infections and MS, not a good combination. I was prepared for the drooping skin at my groin area to get infected first if it was going to. I didn't see this one coming. Anyone else with this? It's now Saturday and no surgeon. I'm not sure what to do here...
  5. Well I'm just plain stupid. I still feel like crap. Popcorn is a good "mover." Lol
  6. That stinks! I hate microwave popcorn with a passion. I buy the white kernels and PPP it at home. I goofed and bought a bag of already popped and it did not agree with me. Do you know the reason you can't have it?
  7. I make it on the stove with oil too. Somehow I tolerate it fine. I bought a bag made just with salt. Not greasy and oh boy, not good. My guts are still rolling. Ugh. Back to popping my own! I've never tried it with olive oil...hmmm.
  8. So I had popcorn with salt yesterday. TODAY I feel awful, like its never digested. Yuck.
  9. Lol, I like the pepper jack ones, I think? 2nd fav is smokehouse. I usually dip them in the flavored cream cheese. That way I get filled up quicker and eat fewer crackers. How do you top yours? Have you ever found them at Walmart? I've never seen them there!
  10. We can't an entire serving, maybe six or so chips so I don't think it's a big deal. Those are so good!
  11. 30 crackers is a serving. I can eat about six.
  12. I like the little packs of cheese crackers with peanut butter inside. 17 g carbs 3 g sugar and 4 g protein. They're a great little snack. Also, I've found that Blue Diamond has a line of almond crackers that are wonderful. They have a variety of flavors. I rub the salt off of them.
  13. My surgeon wants me at 140 and I'm 5'4". I'll be fine with 150. 47 lbs to go.
  14. 60 lbs? Girl, you look fantastic! If you lose 60 more lbs we will have to send you a care package! You're just beautiful and you look nothing like the old picture. You've lost at least 20 years. You're an inspiration.
  15. If you let it go flat then it no longer has fizz or carbonation. It's a personal choice. I don't mind flat pop but a lot of people don't like it that way. Putting it in a cup and stirring it vigorously does the trick removing fizz.
  16. I drink pop infrequently AFTER I let it uncarbonate. Be it by letting it set overnight in a cup and letting the ice melt or pouring it in a cup and stirring til it goes flat. This HURT! I've lost 117 lbs 10 months.
  17. I was very thirsty for a pop (soda) so I got a diet coke at a drive-thru McD's. I took 4 gulps than doubled over in pain. So it's waiting for the ice to melt to take out the carbonation. I think I dislike that the most going on a year post op, not being able to gulp drinks. My head sees one thing and my stomach informs me of my mistake.
  18. So, 10 mths post op. 114 lbs down and surprise! the area I THOUGHT wouldn't be loose, is. Is there a sub topic category for exercises? I need something to work the backside. Walking isn't cutting it. I suppose I could google something but we sleever's have unique issues...so... Advice? Can't join a gym or buy equipment.
  19. No. I've been frustrated and depressed but I've never regretted it. I didn't leave myself many choices.
  20. Please don't get me wrong, I'm fine with loose skin vs the alternative. I'm just excited about the tummy tuck!
  21. I called and they said I'm not eligible until I'm a year post op. That will be in April so I'll be closer to goal by then. Lol, I thought my stomach was bad until I took a peek at my backside. Yikes!
  22. YES! It's that IV!!! I gained 9 lbs overnight after my surgery from fluids.
  23. Oh you poor thing! DO take time to have as many meltdowns as you want, that's just awful. You need nutrition now more than anything, you've had several major traumas that you're trying to recover from. Don't worry about exercise right now. Truly that's the least of the concerns at the moment. Concentrate on healing. I'm so sorry you're in so much pain.
  24. Ah yes, I remember it well. A couple days after surgery and than at month 2 it set in for a month. Ask your surgeon to call in a script for the behind the ear patch or an oral med for nausea. This to shall pass. It's just part of the the sleeves charm
