Ive been on a stall on and off for the past 6 months. Does this mean I wont loose anymore weight? Ive been at189 for 2 months . What elae can i do. Please help..any advice will be appreciated. Thank you in advance.

I couldn't do it either until I saw advice in another thread that said to try Premier Protein ( costco) . I tried them ALL I couldn't even take a second sip with the other ones..even Unjury. Premier is softer and it doesn't leave that nasty after taste that makes u gag..try it...I got it at costco or u can buy 1 on Amazon to try...best of luck

Only 42 pounds...having trouble with Water and Protein intake...

I went to work One week after surgery . I was miserable taking the train. So many people,pushing and shoving .. I got dizzy and weak many times. I wished I would've taken 2 weeks. However everyone heels different . Just take your time ,take your lunch with you (it is essential for your survival). Walk slow bcz any hard movement your tummy will feel it..in your case I think it would all depend on your recovery time...judge everything depending how it goes the week of surgery...good luck...

You did nothing.Bowel obstruction is a' date='not too common anymore,complication of abdominal surgery.Most ofthen though people get an illeus where the intestine doesnt start working immediately after surgery again.This usually resolves with meds and doesnt take too long.

Bowel obstruction needs different treatment but you did nothing wrong.

Do try to speak to your dr when he does rounds again to ask 1.what exactly is going on and 2.what the treatment is and 3. How long he thinks this should take.

Then,just try to use the time to rest and relax and do what they tell you to do.

Have you been readmitted or have you been in hospital since surgery?

I haven't been admitted but I have been @ the hospital for 24 hours .the er doctors didnt find anything major.They ran a ct and just found that i was constipated...duhhhh...damm doctors..lol..i went to my surgeon today and he toldme that im not eating enough and gave me colace if that doesnt work then he will check my gallbladder..dont get the connection ....but i will follow doctors orders ...thank u for ur kind words...

I'm 4 weeks out...and I have no idea what I did to end up in the er...the doc says its looking like intestinal bowel blockage.... I can't be here...I need to go home ....

Just wondering if anyone knows of possible causes ..

I'm 6 days out and my husband is bringing home tons of my favorite junk food... I have to constantly remind myself of why I had the surgery( sort of giving myself the talk) he was soo supportive at the beginning and now he's just an ass. I feel so sad because he also needs to loose weight and I thought things would be different ...

Im five days out and im feeling hungry and anxious. Therefore I feel the need to eat and crave at all times... could it be im ready for food? Please advise...

My hero....people are constantly asking if im prego... And I usually say ""no I'm just fat".....can't wait to be on the loosers bench...I read this and feel confident giving a smart comment... ...

I'm feeling all sorts of emotions . My pre op diet is only two days...My kids are driving me nuts and I feel I'm not fully ready..rather my house, chores are not in order...

Hello... Im going in on the 24th with Dr.Dakin @ cornell. I have found that the wl support groups are helpful.

I havent had mines yet but from all my research and the support groups i could tell you to be patient and follow all of the doctors orders.

My pre-op diet is 2 weeks. Same as when i had my pre-op for my band. Not too difficult. It flies by atually. I just hadmy endoscopy this morning. Woke up froma pretty heavy nap just now.
