Itching like crazy!
I am almost 10 months out,117 pounds down. My loose skin has become just ridiculously itchy. Its mainly my belly but my sides a little too. I dont know whats causing it and hydrocortizone isnt helping. Theres no rash or anything (just red from where I am scratching myself to death) Any ideas? Its driving me crazy, I'm willing to try about anything!

Frustrated And Disgusted...
It takes time ladies. I was sleeved on July 27. Its very hard to get enough protein in even now, and as far as the hunger part goes, I have seen people on here say they are hungry a lot, but I have not felt hungry at all since surgery. I have also become lactose intolerant. Things are way different, but also way better. 4 months out and down 80 pounds, so don't get too frustrated, it takes getting used to.

Feeling Hungary More Often
I have the opposite problem. I am 2 months out and I have never felt hunger once since surgery. I have to set alarms just to remind myself to eat. Is that bad?

Now I Am Lactose Intolerent
I was just going to get on here and ask about If surgery making me lactose intolerant was possible and I found this thread. I love this site. Lol. My fave foods ever were all milk based. Greek yogurt, cheese, fat free cottage cheese and so on. Since my surgery (July 27) I can't eat any of it without feeling really sick after. Its kinda depressing. I really hope it goes away..

Tired Of Plain Water
Yes, the Mio is good. I actually put a little of the lemonade kind in my tea instead of lemon wedges.. I love it )

Pizza Ideas
I tried the cauliflower crust pizza and it was so good. I made it with chopped up chicken and low fat pepperoni so it had some good protein. I definitely recommend you all try it )

Hi Everyone!
Hi. My name is Mary and I found you guys by typing in a problem I was having in a search engine. It must have been fate I have been watching and reading your stories for a couple days and you have all been quite helpful and inspirational. I started my journey at 301 pounds. I knew when I crossed that 300 line that was it for me. I was a insulin dependant diabetic with liver and thyroid problems and high cholesterol. It was time to change. I went to the seminar in February and started working out and seeing my surgeon and a few other docs regularly. I got down to 283. I started my liquid diet on July 20 and had my surgery on July 27. Life sure is different I am only 10 days out and down to 264. I am on puree and tolerating it well. I have not taken any insulin since the liquid diet started. I feel great I'm glad this forum is here so I can talk to/listen to people going through the same things as me. Thanks for being here!
