I don't know if you can see the difference in these the first 2 are at 3 weeks an the second 2 are at 13 weeks today.I am a little slower at losing than some.I am down 40lbs since surgery and the pants in the first photos are a 16 and the second photos are a 10....- Tummy Tuck Scar
I am a nurse I know they don't cut through to the uterus:) My question was more about whether the operation is more difficult due to existing scar and scar tissue .- Boobs during surgery
Great I didn't really even think about where my boobs were during surgery...probably were Amytug said lol.I think I will ask my doc what they normally do...but what's done is done I guess.I am more concerned now with the fact that they hang even lower;)- Pounds Lost
60 days 28lbs Today 83 days out down 10 more lbs My BMI was 39.9 Surgery Day and I have noticed that it seems like people with BMI like this or lower tend to lose a little slower. I edited this post to break down my loss a little different so it is done the way others on thread did it.- Low Carb Slim Fast Versus Unjury?

Australian Sleevers
Remember Chia Pets back in the day?The seeds that the plant is grown from have been shown to have great health benefit. They sell Chia drinks at Wholefoods that have chia seeds floating in them...- Has anyone tried Berocca?
I figured one of the Aussies had tried this- Has anyone tried Berocca?
I have never tried it but it has been around a long time overseas...I think it is slightly fizzy because it dissolves in water like alkazeltzer I had some South African friends that drank a B supplement they said was similar berocca. You May want to ask someone in the "Australian Sleevers Group" bc I know it has been on the market in Australia for a while as well as the UK.It is only new to us;)- Before and after photos
Looking good!- Made my own riceless 'sushi'
I have allowed myself to eat a few pieces while out too but I get brown rice so I don't feel totally guilty doing it:)- Where and who did your surgery?
Dr.Harnisch at SanAntonio Military Medical Center:) The Bariatric Program at this Hospital is Awesome!!!- Tummy Tuck Scar
Anyone on here have a TT after multiple c-sections? I have had 3 and it looks like the scar is in the same area so I am wondering how that is gonna work when the time comes....- Introduce Yourselves!!
- Ow ow ow!
- Did you keep your surgery a secret?
I told my family and close friends.I also told my mother in law so I am pretty sure my husbands whole family knows (my mil cant keep her yap shut)to include his ex wife and his daughters. I went to a funeral a couple weeks ago and my MIL and SIL were giving me judgmental looks and I know they noticed my nearly 40lb weightloss as I went from a 16/18 to a 10/12 but they didn't say anything. My MIL I am sure doesn't think I deserve it bc I took the "easy way out" but in reality my MIL is the one taking the easy out by just staying fat. My SIL is a borderline anorexic and the family is constantly getting questions about whether she has cancer or is otherwise ill bc she looks like a rail so I know it is just bitterness on her part. Going through the judgement from my in laws I can totally I understand why people keep surgery to themselves. Also make sure you trust the people you tell not to spread it if you don't want anyone to know. Bc like I said my MIL told my husband's EX why I dont know since my MIL doesn't even like her and his EX and I do not get along at all so she doesn't need to know my business.Ex is also very judgmental but she and her new husband are also on the just stay fat wagon at over 300lbs and 400lbs so she can judge away while she is still buying mumus;)- Share your "slow loss" success!
I love your posts Cheri, always so refreshing to hear ! It was a great idea to show how different people's journeys can be. I was sleeved 11/7/12 and have lost 40lbs since then so I am not losing at warp speed but I am still plugging along- Its heeeeeeeeere im at the hospital! !
Good luck!- Attention ! Australian Sleevers
