Hi I am going with Dr hilmy and had a positive sleep study. I have an appt with pulmonalogist (?) On the 22nd I see him and do the sleep study same day and I am self pay, I guess I better call and find out how much I have to pay.. Chubarella when is your surgery and what hospital

Dana I am 50 and feel and felt the same way. I am self pay and scheduled for the 29th of Aug. It's truly a blessing to be able to read everyones response to every question , how they managed their road to recovery.and I love to read about all the success stories.. sometimes I am jealousy (just for a minute) that they are 2-3 months out. Good luck and God bless to all of us in this forum.. -

Do you think you could follow a pre op diet even if your MD didn't require one and you want to do it for self gratification? I am doing two weeks of high protein/low fat and low carbs and 1 wk of Clear liquids. -

Hi everyone, I have 3 wks of pre-op diet , I haven't started the liquid phase not till the 32nd , but It will all be worth it at the end or I should say the beginning of a better life.. -

Hi i was told that I have sleep apnea and I have to see pulmonologist. I have an appt on the 22nd. I hope I can convince him to approve the surgery. Hopefully he will and he can test after I lost some weight. I need some prayers. I am letting my mind play all sorts of mind games.. -

I am private pay so this has moved along pretty fast. I had my gallbladder out 1984 so I didn't have to have any test for that. Saved me a few bucks. Lol.. I am on heavy doses of antibiotics to treat h pylori and I always have a bad taste in my mouth. I have about 5 more days left of treatment. -

@Smtaarie I am excited at times and scared of the unknown Pain, tolerance, and failure.. I have only told a couple of my family members and 2 of my co-workers. Another One thinks I am having surgery because of my H Pylori,she know it can cause ulcers I didn't disagree... lol.....
