Office and they actually did an un fill and said that I was to tight.. They took all if the Fluid out to make sure that that was what was causing my pain and I get a refill on Tuesday or they said I could wait until after thanksgiving... I did have instant relief as soon as they took the Fluid out. I don't think it was something stuck because I have had that happen twice before and it washer in my chest area.. This was below my chest . And it was a constant pain. It's rough bc I really thought I was in my green zo zone. I wasn't hungry betweeneals and had lost 10 lbs in 2 weeks. I did only have 5.5 cvs in my band too.

On my way to his office now... This pain is horrible !!!

I just had lapband surgery 9/24 and last week had a gall bladder attack.. Was in ER then ICU for 3 days.. Horrible.. I wish they would of taken mine out!

I had to have documentation of attempted weight loss.. Weight recorded.. And blood pressure recorded with my pcm.. he also wrote tricare a letter..I started the process in May and got banded yesterday. Approval once submitted only took 3 days but the letter going to my surgeon took a little over a week. Good luck with everything

So I am hoping to have the Lapband put in end of September .. Going through the process and I'm seeing the light at the end of the tunnel .. Last night I had a dream that I had the lap band and was eating a meal.. Protein first .. And apparently I didn't chew enough and felt it getting stuck.. Which is totally weird because I have no idea what that feels like.. But all I know is that I was happy and felt in control of my life ... Is it normal to have lap band dreams? Haha
have any of you had them before surgery?

So just talked to the surgeons coordinator and I do have to have the 6th month weight and bp check per Tricare .. She showed me her paperwork from Tricare which stated the req. an she said a lot of patients get denied without having it. Good news though.. They are going to Schedule my surgery before the insurance approval so I can get the date I need .. now just praying that after September's weight check I will be approved.

I have tri-care prime north... So weird if it is different for each region. Ya I called and she just read what was on the Tricare website.. And I asked specifically about the wait time and he said there isn't one and nothing is stated about it. Going I talk to the surgeons coordinator on Monday so I'll let you know what thy say.

I hope that skin elasticity test holds some truth for me after surgery! Because my skin seems pretty springy. I do have some pretty big arms though.
But like other people have said, I'd definitely rather have some loose skin than have a bunch of fat. Being healthy is more important than being a sexpot to me.
