  1. Just drank 3 oz of my protein shake and burp so much! This won't work in public. How long does this last?
  2. It is so hard to drink slowly. I'm wondering how everyone else is fairing with this? How long do we have to drink slowly?
  3. GNC has great products. They have alot of sales too.
  4. So sorry to hear that . Do what's right for u and good people will be attracted to that. Sending u support and Peace ❤
  5. This is my final response to this post. How do u think I had my surgery? I did 2 weeks clear liquids just fine thank u. My post op diet is in writing in my resourse binder from the consultants who I worked with. The Dr.said 2 weeks liquids, the other literature says start day 4-5 with soft foods ie mashed potatoes etc. So I have predominantly stayed on liquids but have tried some things. I asked for input but unfortunatly a couple of comments were negative in tone at best. My question was how were people adjusting etc.. I have seen many posts where people didn't do 2 weeks liquid so I was inquiring. Anyway this subject got twisted and I'll chalk it up to poor form.
  6. Whoa Ladies...first of all I'm not an idiot and I have researched this procedure, it's limitations, complications and diet for almost 4 yrs. this was no easy decision. And I DON'T take it lightly. There are MANY approaches to postop intake and I have carefully considered them all. Am I a Dr? No, but I do work in the healthcare field and know a thing or two. I don't mind advise or a completely opposing opinion but some of the posts feel just mean spirited. "Why would I waste thousands of dollars?" Is that necessary? Anyway I have never been a "sheep" when it comes to my own health and body. An educated decision is just that. So chill already. And for the record my insurance paid every cent
  7. Even in the literature I received there were conflicting diets. My doc said 2 weeks if you can't drink it u can't have it. I think it makes it easier for them to restrict as opposed to pointing out all the various exceptions to each rule. For instance I have had avocado, wonton soup with wontons, and a couple other items. The concept is that it be of that consistency and avocado for instance will chew into nothingness. But great flavor yum. So some of it is just common sense. Speaking of...does anyone have opposing information or is there a risk I'm unaware of?
  8. I'm 1 week postop today and had a glass of Chardonnay last***ht. It was fine didn't feel any different except drinking it so slow has to diminish the effect. I think anytime a person goes a long period without drinking it will hit them harder when they do.
  9. Great information really puts it in perspective. Thanks!'
