    How Is Everyone Doing?

I'm in the same boat. I'm at 6 weeks postop and been stalled too. Just starting to exercise and can't wait to see some movement. Wishing everyone well.
  2. M really good through the day with all the restrictions but when dinner comes I just want to have a nice dinner without worrying about getting full in a few bites. I have had 2 dinners since being sleeved that were satisfying. One was a 3 oz lobster tail with a little bit of baked potatoe and the other was a turkey burger, cottage cheese and a slice of tomatoe w/ balsamic vinegar it was yummy! But almost every night I really struggle to figure out what to eat. I'm almost 6 weeks post op and still have some restrictions. I would like to get past this stage and just enjoy dinner. Anyone else feel the same?
  3. I swear I'm so impatient. Thanks for the hope:)
  4. So proud of my diet today. Grilled Cod, cottage cheese, muscle milk and small coffee drink. 100 grams protein. The highest I've had since surgery. Feels good.
  5. I wondered what others were doing that's all. Just curious. Called my doc and they said 6-8 weeks. I will wait till the end just in case.
  6. I have been taking liquids and cutting my Prevacid in 4. I will call my doc today thanks for the input everyone

    5 Confessions (Join In)

I confess I just had a 3 oz Lobster tail 2 bites of a baked potatoe and it was AMAZING. The BEST thing I have tasted in months! I thought I would never truly enjoy a meal again. And now I know I WILL enjoy a meal again because truly I doubted it. I can wait weeks if I know once in a while I can enjoy!
  13. I have realized 3 weeks + postop that this whole thing has a major psychological impact. If u turn to food in times of emotional need you will feel a void on top of your normal healing process. Add to that some difficulties and hormonal changes and it becomes clear that this is not easy. Hang in there it is a serious adjustment and a major undertaking. Some days are better than others and yes yes yes it gets better. Go ahead and cry there is a certain amount of mourning that needs to take place. I wish u the best and obviously have experienced and still do these same challenges. Wishing u peace, Suzie
  14. I tried to ingest them crushed and hurled each time. The Prilosec I divide into 8 pieces and the others are liquid. Be aware the liquids "compound" form, is quite pricey. Be sure to get approval ahead of time from insurance it can be cumbersome. Goo luck!
