I suppose it depends on if you are self-paying. Or if your insurance covers it. If your looking to have your insurance pay for it, I couldn't tell you a timeline. But if you are self-paying, the turnaround time is pretty quick. For me, I went to the free seminar on March 6, 2007. I submitted the paperwork and got my surgery scheduled for April 12, 2007. :)yay!!!! So a little over a month:). I hope this answers your questions. Good luck with what your looking for.

Today is March 10, 2007 I am very excited yet very nervous of the new me. I am starting my journey at approximately 330 pounds and 5'7". Which gives me a BMI of 51. And of coarse the pounds and height are approximate, i'm not sure exactly, but i will keep this updated. I am currently awaiting to hear from the doctor's office to where I am getting my surgery done. Hopefully I will hear from them in the beginning of next week. I went to the free seminar on March 6, 2007. And filled out and submitted my paperwork on March 8, 2007. The next step is for Holly to call to set up the appointments. AHHHHHh i wish she would call me today. haha, but it's Saturday so she won't. Anyways. I will keep this Journal updated. :faint: Thanks

Hello all: My name is Angie, I am 23 years old and from Utah and went to a free seminar on 3/6/2007 and i'm very interested in the surgery. I have about 180#'s to lose. I mailed in my paperwork on 3/8/07 so hopefully by Monday I will get a call to set up all the necessary pre op stuff. But waiting is the game for now. I'm extremely excited for this and I know that I will succeed. I am gonna have a positive attitude from here on out. Well I just wanted to introduce myself. Have a good one all.
