Finally, back to the LB doc next week to face reality that I haven't done so well over the last few months and need to stop avoiding the dr. I haven't gained but need a fill and a kick in the ...... Been doing better the past couple weeks though.

SO, other than my friend AJ's yummy peanut butter Greek yogurt I don't normally like Greek yogurt (too sour). I tried Dannon Light & Fit Greek yogurt (80 cal, 0 fat, 12 g of protein). IT IS YUMMMMMY!!!

I had a great NSV yesterday! Had my 6 month dental cleaning. I used to have a hard time leaning forward to discard the mouthwash to the bowl with my belly... this time it was no problem reaching it. It was nice not getting it down the front of me for change.

YES!!! That wonderful moment you realize you get 3 paychecks this months on the 1st, 15th, and 29th!!!

Had a hankering for pasta (haven't had any in weeks/perhaps months... made some for lunch. About 1/2 c into it, I'M DONE!!! Sure, I could stuff down more but I am satisfed! LOVE MY BAND!!

So excited!! Going w/ my daughter, fiance and his 3 kids to The Christmas Lights Festival at Brookfield Zoo. I went years ago but it was brutally cold being outside. Today is in 60s - unheard of for winter in Chicago.

Just made the yummiest dinner, sauted chicken, spinach, garlic and grape tomatoes w/ quinoa, crushed red pepper topped w/ some feta!!! YUM!!!

Love my new DO! Went to hairdresser and she said your face is thinner now, stop hiding it with hair and do something fun! Cut off about 6" in back and loving the new "fun" do!!

Tomorrow morning... Vote, Go to surgeon for slight unfill (ugh, been miserable for a week) and then off to work! Will be very happy to get a much needed slight unfill.

Walking through the parking garage at work tonight to my car and a fellow employee (that I don't see that much) yells "Dawn" across the parking lot. I turn and she says she just wanted to tell me I look great. She said she's been meaning to tell me. She is a sweetheart and it made my night for her to say that! She doesn't know I had surgery and just made that observation on her own.

Post op visit w/ surgeon this a.m. went quite well. He was very pleased with my progress and said I am at the "high end" of what they expect for weight loss. He was also saying his patients typically lose 35-50% of their excess weight in 1-2 years. I am almost at 30% already and only 3 months out!
Feeling good!!! Got a small fill too! -
Funny, but not! So I ordered some protein powder to try from Amazon that someone was raving about on LBT. It came Saturday. I didn't get the box from my door immediately. As I went out later I see the box laying in my front yard by the street cut open. Now I am ticked that someone stole my stuff. I retrieved the open box and the protein powder still in tact. Guess, they were disappointed to find out that was in the box and not something "good".
