i sat at a computer in a room by myself and answered questions. took about 45 minutes. no big deal. if they do see any areas of concern they just want to address them before surgery. you'll do great!

being put under is like getting a well deserved nap.

you are doing amazing! each day will get easier. just make sure you are getting your liquids in. you do not want to get dehydrated. hang in there!

my husband has had to pick up some of the meal preparations. i have been so tired/nauseauted/emotional that making meals is the last task i need to face. don't be afraid to ask for help. in regards to family gatherings, i have just steered clear for the time being. it is just too much to face so soon after surgery. hope this helps. good luck with your surgery.

congratulations on your weight loss. that is amazing. i would continue what you are doing. we all lose differently and you obviously have found what works for you.

within an hour of coming home i went to sleep on my stomach. was very careful when adjusting and although was painful at first, it was the only way i could get "good" sleep.

cannot wait to cross my legs again. it truly is the little things that make this journey worth it. today, i got in the truck and put my seatbelt on. i went to unsnap my jeans (for comfort) and realized i didn't need to.

it does gurgle up my throat. my digestive system is rarely quiet and i am two weeks post-op. don't be paranoid. i am sure it will become our new "normal".
