Slow losers that are maintaining or close to goal
I am a slow loser. I will be 17 weeks out on Monday and I have lost 36lbs. It is an average of 2.25lbs a week which I am happy about. I think my Dr. And Nut stress me more than I stress myself. I stay off the boards because of the negativity around slow "losing" I remind myself that everyone is different. I am losing more than I did when I was dieting and exercising so to me that is a positive. I have been walking for exercise, but joined the gym yesterday and will add in more variety. I will admit I expected to lose more in the first three months, but I didn't and I am okay with it. There is no rhythm to my stalls that I can figure. I do feel I need to drink more which I am still working on because I do feel like I retain Fluid. It is a learning process. All I do is take each day! Thanks for sharing your stories!! It gives us slow "losers" hope!

How can this math be possible ? The Sleeve is not working.
I am in same boat week 16 and 36lbs down. I lost most of that in the first two weeks. It is frustrating. I just keep the hope, that this is part of the process. I hope it helps to know that others are going through the same thing.

Post Op Octosleevers 2012. Welcome To The Losers Bench!
I was sleeved 10/1 starting weight 266.6, day of 256, 3 days after surgery 263, today 234.6. Total lost 32lbs. I feel like I am a slow looser. I keep reminding myself of the average weight loss....but still is frustrating. I am a stair step looser. I do not lose for like 7 to 10 days then I drop 2 to 3 lbs. It is highly irritating! I don't even call them stalls. I just chalk it up to the way I lose.

Mfp And Nutritional Goals
I will add you all tonight, I opened my diary too. It is interesting after 9 weeks to see that I am only eating about 800 cals even though it seems like a lot. I made taco soup yesterday, something diff and high protein. I also made a egg and cheese bake for breakfast. Trying to make sure I eat. I think that is my problem. I normally do not eat high protein snacks so I was really not getting enough. Seeing it on MFP helps!

8 Weeks Down Feel Like 40 Isnt Enough. I Am Sad
7 weeks post op tomorrow down 30lbs. I am happy! I don't understand when people are upset with their progress. You had VSG no RNY. Your weight loss is realistic for your procedure. Embrace your changes because I know you see them. I see mine at 30lbs. Can I ask you what you thought you would lose by 8 weeks post op? Just curious to what your expectations were.

Post Surgery Compliments
My weight-loss of been gradual so I'm not getting a lot of questions. I have had two guys at my job compliment my losses. I just say thank you. One female my job who I do not like at all asked me what I was doing she's not a friend and she's a gossiper so I told her that I was eating less and working out. More of a low carb approach. I have not hid my surgery for my family for my close friends. I don't care what people think I don't want everyone in my business.

Post Op Octosleevers 2012. Welcome To The Losers Bench!
I will be 7 weeks out on Monday. Surgery was October 1st. I am a few ounces shy of 30lbs loss. I think I am one of those "sleeve of steel" people. No issue with anything. My Nut had me eating one carb a day before 4. I have tried toast no issue. I love my egg whites with a half a slice of toast and 1 bacon. I have been out to eat with no issues. I have had tofu, chicken, ground beef, and fish. I am pleased thus far and have no regrets. I honestly feel quite normal. I eat more like my 6 year old and most often she eats a bit more than me!

October Sleevers-How Ya Doin?
I was sleeved 10/1 started at 266 down to 238. I can tolerate everything that I have tried to date with no complications. My waist went from 43 to 37 inches. I am super pleased with my progress. I stalled from 10/10 until 10/29. I do not lose daily. I have a drop then no loss for a week or more.

- Post Op Octosleevers 2012. Welcome To The Losers Bench!
I am eating everything fish, chicken, tuna, veggies. I had one bad experience with shrimp. I have been on solids since 11 days post surgery. I was tired last week, but feel pretty "normal" today 3 weeks post-op. My surgical team does not do mushies. I still cannot eat bread, rice, beans and gas producing veggies. I am doing well with fluids. No protein shakes here. I get it all from food. I am enjoying my non citric fruits.- Post Op Octosleevers 2012. Welcome To The Losers Bench!
I have not been on much. I went back to work on Tuesday. I have been tired all week. I had surgery 10/1 and have been stalled since my 1st follow up. I am remaining positive and keeping it all in perspective. Or at least trying.- October Sleevers! Announce Yourselves
I hope you don't have to wait! Good luck- Kid Friendly Halloween Punch
