  1. Well I am a fifth grade teacher as well and the good thing is that this is a new school. I do not know any of them so this will be interesting. I have not told a soul except my husband and he is great and supportive. I didn't tell any of my family members and don't intend to do so. They are all aware that I am eating better and exercising...enough said. So far so good, no one has said anything about my portion sizes but I was never a big eater anyways...

  2. I just thought I would post about having a hard time getting my required Water and Protein in on the weekends. During the weekday it is easy because I am at work with prepared lunch and water bottles with crystal light. However, as soon as Saturday comes, I start out with my 40 oz of water and so far that is all I have managed to intake for the day. We won't even mention eating because I have hardly eaten anything all day. Is it just me or is weekends the hardest???

  3. I think they judge so harshly because they don't know any better. I had my surgery on July 2nd and tried to drink a maragarita but after two or three sips I was totally gone...so needless to say I have decided to let it go...LOL! Now that did not stop my weight loss and I am still losing. I may actually be hitting a stall but I will get back on my exercise this week. Good luck and don't worry your sleeve will not fail you behind a drink...LOL!

  4. Is everyone working out like 30 or 60 min a day 3 or 4 times a week ? Or does the weight just come off its self? I know that's a odd thing to ask iv not had my sleeve yet. I have had my acl trashed a few times so wondering coz moving around a lot till 20/30 lb drop off hurts " rather give birth again and my 3 kids were 9 9 1/2 each lol" so any info you guys could add would be so helpfully :). I am trying to walk on the treadmill an hour a day at least four times a week. I have fallen off the last two weeks and only went twice. Tomorrow starts a new week so I must get started again. My doctor said that exercise really helps you to lose weight faster and of course I wanted to see results as soon as possible. :P

  5. I would just stick to walking. If you walk on a treadmill increase your speed and give it a slight incline lift. I will be six weeks on Monday and can't wait to be able to do some light weight lifting. I have a doctor's appointment the following week and I need to inquire about the ability to do sit-ups...

  6. Just started soft food yesterday but I enjoyed deli shaved turkey on flatbread crackers with garlic herb cheese..tomorrow I'm going to get me a watermelon and cantolupe..and cooking some

Beans in the slow cooker while at church

I cooked Beans in the slow cooker on last Sunday...I will be on regular diet starting Monday and I will take it slow. I have not tried any nuts, I thought they were excluded until after 8 weeks. I need to look at my diet progression book again...:)

  7. I think you are referring to P90X the exercise program...If so, I don't know a lot about the program othern than some co-workers would get together and do it and the few times I watched them exercise...it looked really intense. I don't think I would be ready and I have been walking the treadmill at the gym for an hour at least 3-4 days a week. I have increased my incline and pace and I would still not be ready for P90X.
