Tomorrow. I've been having major cravings and after my lunch- I went to get some frozen yogurt. No regrets- didn't sit the best in my yummy but not terrible. I,too, do not believing in depriving myself but also believe eat Protein first and then see how you're feeling. I did that an still wanted it so I got it.

I feel compelled to also contribute to this conversation given my background in behavioral health. But first, I must say, I like to enjoy a drink here and there as well
But I thought I would share some very interesting research that is out about the increased rates of alcohol addiction of those who have had bariatric surgeries. Something to think about (I know I do and will continue to think about). It makes sense with a smaller stomach. I don't have all the details on it but I find it absolutely intriguing as what we know is that there is a strong genetic factor but with those with bariatric surgery, your risk goes up - even without the genetic factors playing a role (so if they do, I'm sure that it's even higher).
Anyway- that's my lil' lecture (actually not trying to be). I JUST told my husband I think one day when I'm ready to have a drink I'll let mine fizz down. I love the Schmirnoff's- Grape. Tastes like Grape Jolly Good pop. But again, I'm not a big drinker. Maybe a handful of times per year at best.
The truth is: I'm such a freak and will probably follow doctor's order to a "T" because I'll be too scared to do anything else.

One of most frightening things that happened to me this summer was being at a local amusement park and my adolescent boy wanted to go on a roller coaster. I wasn't going to for different reasons but nonetheless they had a seat to sit in prior to the ride to see if you fit. No more measuring height. This time it was a matter if my fat ARSE would fit! Humiliating.

I wasn't sure why I would need a WLS buddy as I seem to have no problem navigating the system. But I think it would be nice to have someone walk this journey by my side. I just have one more NUT/PA appt and hope to be sleeved in September (should find out by the end of August the latest if it's approved). Anyone wanna be my pal? I tend to talk things through a question a lot. I also tend to want to post about personal things at times and then will delete. I think this is where a buddy will come in handy for me

I can't wait to feel like I should shower twice a day just becuse I always feel yucky and can't help but remember that when I was smaller it wasn't like that. :-(

Today while out shopping with my Husband we got separated getting things at SAMs club.
Well, my husband caught up to me a few isle over. I noticed he was smiling at me. I thought nothing of it and we finished up our shopping. When we got in the car he told me that he saw me walking in the store and smiled because I LOOKED GREAT!! It was so nice to hear him say that and to see the excitement on his face. I loved it and It made my day!!!

green thanks, man i have been hit on so much omg, just today the bus driver on the shuttle to the courthouse asked for my number. and the sheriff flirted with me. im singing from west side story I FEEL PRETTY OH SO PRETTY. it feels good.

I was able to go into a store today and pick out a pair of slacks for work and they fit. A size 10!!! From a size 18/20. 30lbs to goal. One day at a time.
212lbs
160lbs........ goal 130lbs

Omg yes!!!! Constantly! Hubby and kids think I'm crazy!

9/17 sleeved - 68 pounds down. Reached Onederland! Yippee!!! Congrats to all!

Thanks. That's what I did too until the Holidays and now trying too again as my hair just started falling out. Yuck.

Good morning everyone. Like I said on a post the other day, I want to be on here more often to get support and to feel accountable for what I eat.
Yesterday was a good food day, didn't get all my Water in but I did have about 40 oz.
