  1. Gross. Yuck. Tastes like fish to me. Can't do it. There goes money out the door. I've tried it in my Powerade, broths- yuck! Guess I need to go buy more Isopure. I also have chocolate flavored to add to milk. I'll get it in- especially when I can move away from Clear Liquids.
  2. I drink powerade zero. I compared that to G2 and I can't remember the very slight difference (nothing major) but there was one.
  3. Yey!!! So happy you are doing better!! You'll see the loss- I agree pumped full liquids. So now when u go home keep a bottle of powersde zero or whateve u like in your hand at all times and keep on sipping . Today I noticed i can drink more at once and am just about to 64 ounces!!! You can do it xxxx
  4. For what it's worth- its only my docs rules but depending on the phase you're at- I know when I beyond clear liquid phase I still need to get my liquids in and 32 of the 64 must still be clear. I like how my doc really outlines all of this for me. I'm the type of person that if a doc tells me to follow something I will. Otherwise, I make my own rules . Just sharing my experience... Oh and according to mine- protein shakes are not clear. I'm only allowed one per day right now - 1 week post op
  5. And I'd I'm reading this correctly you're not 2 monta post op- but rather 3 weeks!?? Way too early (in my opinion) to judge just yet. I'm only one week post op and I share in mourning the foods and so sick of clear liquids right now. But I did this for a reason- no many reasons and I also prepped myself on this forum and research about what to expect. So while I also struggle at times, I think it's probabaly normal. Hang in there- from all the readings it will get better
  6. Thanks NG! My hubby and mom Thought the same thing but I just thought I was just in for dehydration and they pumped me Full of stuff but still- compared to what we used to eat and drink- makes sense. Thanks
  7. Phew- glad I'm not alone. Not that I want you to have pain. Well whoever finds out the reason first will let the other know . I see doc on Tuesday
  8. Ouch! My springer thinks he's a lap dog so I'm always on the lookout . My shepard- although such a sweetheart- is not a cuddle bug
  9. I will add, however, that the first thing I'm eating when I get to puréed is refried beans and cheese!!! Droooool!!
  10. Ya I wouldn't do that either. This is the time your sleeve is healing and youre high risk for leak. I'm still on Clear liquids. My mom just made my family a nice dinner. Oh how I want to eat too
  11. U can put it under your tongue if you want or crush it and put it in liquids -
  12. Glad u called. Please keep us posted xxxxx
  13. Oh well that's why then you lost a bunch already! You'Re doing great!
  14. Thanks but are you only on clear? My doc has me on clear which is why this is happening. I take it lightly and wonder when I do get to eat if I will gain a little? 5 pounds is also great in one week!
  15. Hello fellow September losers It's been one week today. A small bump in the road (dehydrated) but weighed in today and I'm down 14 pounds since surgery day? Is this for real? Still on clear liquids with a protein shake daily. How are my sister September 12-ers doing?
  16. I'm on clear liquids still and will be for two weeks post op. ended up in hospital due to dehydration. I did get the ok to add protein shake a day and also strongly encouraged to add unflavored protein to my clear liquids.
  17. I probabaly shouldn't answer this because I'm only 6 days post op but I find it absolutely crazy how much I crave real food- much worse than my pre op diet. I dream of it and want to just suck on chips so bad (wasn't a big chip eater before unless PMs). I've read on here that when I get to have real food- puréed and after that will go away. I hope so
  18. I have this right now. Surgery was sept 12. I'm in hospital due to dehydration but this pain started about 5 last night and after I was feeling better And drinking more. Ouch! Wonder if gas pain can come back?
