@ that is what I am seeing too. Our surgery dates are close (9/30) for me, and I feel that as I have become more comfortable the past two weeks I may not have met my protein goals. @ Rileysmom22 I did enjoy a few treats myself. I am so thankful the sleeve did it's job. I was having a dab of carrot cake (literally a Tablespoon) and my daughter asked when I would be able to eat a full slice. It dawned on, me and I smiled at her and told her hopefully never. I am glad this tool stays with us. I do have to say that I have also realized that the few sweet treats that I had made my sugar craving kick in really bad. When I realized it, I stopped and I am trying to clean my system back out so I don't want to munch as you mentioned. I guess I had never realized how powerful sugar was. Happy New Year to all!

@ tcrehm I have noticed some light shedding but that may just be because I am watching for it.

    One year!

There is no doubt the new year will hold great things for you and everyone there after. I can relate to so much of what you have said. I am only 50# down, but I have already noticed that people treat me differently. Is it me or them? I am not sure, but I have known from the first day of surgery that this was a great life choice for me. Thanks for taking the time to share your story. ????

    Two years ago today.....

Kindle, you remind me that this is possible. We all have struggles but we don't have to turn back to food for comfort. I have read many of your posts and appreciate all you have done to contribute to everyone on this journey. Congratulations on your success!

Hello everyone! Glad to check in and see everyone is making progress ???? I am down 50# since my surgery 9/30. I can eat anything I have tried so far, and only experienced problems after eating pistachios once. I am sticking to the rules with protein first and still have the occasional shake if I can't get my protein in. I knew this was the surgery for me from day one and still so excited about my journey. Finally went shopping (pants way too big) and was surprised that I went from a size 20 in plus section to a size 16 from Old Navy. Yep, tears of joy. All the best to each of you ~

    Fish on soft food died?

@@TMG1980TMG - I haven't tried tuna yet because it always gave me indigestion before surgery. I will wait a little longer. Have you tried Tysons cooked chicken in the small 3 Oz cans or packets? It is moist and goes down well for me. I also enjoyed corned beef in the can. It looks like dog food, but I enjoyed it as well. Hope you find something you can enjoy soon.

    Got milk?

@@LoseItKacy I was sleeved 9/30 as well. I mix all my protein powder with milk. It gives me more protein and makes them taste much better for me. My surgeon approves milk and I still stay within my calorie range. Have you been able to reach your NUT? I hope you are feeling better soon.
  15. @disapearingdebbie way to stick with your plan! I bet you were thrilled. Congrats!
  16. @@hbsk no fear, the scales will move again. ☺ You can add the bar in your profile. I had to do it when signed on my home computer. I can't figure out how to do it on my phone. I need to add mine for weight loss as well.
  17. @@hbsk I had to Google kgs and Congratulations on your weight loss so far. I think you are doing great! I am about the same as you. I have lost 20 lbs so far so we are really close. I just had my follow up with my surgeon on Thursday and he was pleased. If you are still concerned, you could call your NUT or surgeons office.
  18. Hello @@hbsk and welcome. I was sleeved on 9/30 as well. If you are following your plan, just stay the course. I gained all 8 lbs I had lost on my pre-surgery diet back afrer surgery from the IV fluid in the hospital. I lost then froze (stall) for 7 days. The scale has started to move again now. Don't give up! You can search this site on stall or 3 week stall and you will find it is not common. Good luck on your journey ☺
  19. That stuff is horrible! Was given a sample bottle by my NUT and hated it. Sorry OK Pirate, but it was coconut. Anyway, I took it home and told my family it was great just so they would take a sip and I could see their faces contorted from the flavor. So, not so good for taste, but was fun. @@VSGAnn2014 maybe you could enjoy yours that way? Lol

Same here. Surgery 9/30 - 14 days today. Loosing like gang busters first week, but have been stuck for several days now. Nice to know that it is just the dreaded stall. We will just have to hang in there and stay the course.

Be Do Have that sounds great! I am at 14 days today and will start my transition to puree. Yay!! Love the baby bell idea and I plan to try laughing cow as well. I am concerned because if I eat yogurt or cottage cheese I can eat 4 oz without an issue. I hope that is not a problem for me. Keep up the good work!
  22. I tried a sample of the unjury chicken soup with protein and enjoyed that, and I really have enjoyed bullion cubes (Wyler's chicken or beef) with a scoup of Syntax unflavored protein.
