For those of you who weigh more often or even daily, what are the types of weight fluctuations that you encounter? Is there a cutoff when you know something went wrong? For example, a 5lb difference between Monday and Tuesday, you know you gained?

Same here, I weigh myself once a week on Sunday morning after I have used the restroom and with no clothes to ensure consistency. Do you maybe just need a new battery (thinking it's a digital). Mine was acting up not too long ago and it just needed a new battery.

I'm on a low carb diet, have lost 92lbs and still had to be put on lipitor. Your doctor doing the blood check can look at your levels (Trig/LDL/HDL) to figure out you have the genetic issue or if it's food and determine if you need the meds. It runs in the family and since my Trigs were at a good number, she knew I was a genetic case and put me on meds. It sucks, I thought I would beat it, but can't help it.

Since you are newly banded and it's the first day for solids, I would stay away from steak. Steak is harder for banded people to eat and you really should learn and get more comfortable with eating solids before you eat something like this in front of others. I would suggest getting Soup or something softer to start with. Once you've been banded awhile and get the hang of eating with the band, then I would give a steak a go.

Thank you, I appreciate the information! I'm coming from the US. I'll be working in Notting Hill, VIC and we are working on getting the VISA ready so I can come on over .

Thank you, do you mind providing the name of the place? Would you recommend them? I'm just in maintenance mode now, so hopefully low maintenance .

Did you go to a doctor close to Victoria? I'm moving to there in the near future and need to transfer to a lapband doc near Victoria is why I'm asking.

Thank you both, that makes sense in both cases.

Sorry for my ignorance and I'm not trying to offend anyone when I ask this, but if you are still reaching for your weight loss goal, why would you do a TT now while you are still trying to lose weight? Or would you just get another one done later? I know I need one and just looking to see what others have done/are doing.

Hey everyone, just out of curiosity, anyone kind of swaying a bit from their motivation? I'm amazed I've stuck to it this long, but it is probably due to still being consistent about getting on LBT and MFP everyday.

If the fruit only has to be avoided due to carbs, Del Monte has no sugar added fruit cocktail and peaches. I'm one of the low carb banders , but my max is 60/day.

173.4, not good, gone up quite a bit, but I'm hoping it's from the numerous pickles I've eaten the last 3 days.

I still get cravings for sweets unfortunately but honestly I think I need another fill eventhough I just had one a week ago. Anyway, I second the sugar free popsicles, they are good, and you can always get sugar free pudding as well. Also, healthyindulgences.net has some recipes to make sugar free Desserts, I've made the cadbury eggs and they turned out really good.

Have you tried using a different browser to access the website and then try uploading?

I have a question and need some help. My exercise from my Fit bit is not showing up on My Fitness Pal. I have checked and they are still synced. Any ideas what it could be or how I could fix it.
Go to MFP, then click on Apps at the top, click on fitbit, and connect accounts. I just did mine and it showed up. Let me know if this does not work. I'm 2012ALM on MFP.

Don't feel bad, I've been at a plateau for a month. We'll get through this, just don't let it get you discouraged.

I refinanced my car with my local bank.

I think it's okay, but I don't like how they mention that it's even good for those who have as little as 30 lbs to lose.

If you can do it, I would do it. It makes your liver smaller and having a smaller liver makes it easier on the surgeon doing the surgery. It's also a nice detox for getting used to less food, sugars, caffeine, carbonation, etc.
