    I can tell u that im two.weeks out from.surgery and that taste in the mouth still.hasnt left me! No.matter how strong the toothpaste or mouth wash.... Also, the foods, liquids for now, taste nothing like they used to. I tasted some cheese off of my fav pizza and i was thoroughly disgusted. Shouldnt have tried it anyway but i spit it out and went back to my shakes lol....

    I did and my surg almost was cancelled. Went to pcp, had some antibiotics and was well in 6 days.... i can tell you from experience, the LAST thing you want to have an abundance of is mucous or coughing. I woke up in tje recovery room vomiting and choking because of it...... mucinex, theraflu, whatever u have to do..

    Glad u r doing better? U didnt want your hubby to stay? Mine stayed in the hospital all 3 days. Even slept in my bed!!! Congrats on the loss and keep getting well!!!

    Yes he just called back. He said its just the stomach contracting and i might be feeling it a little more than usual. As long as its not associated with vomiting or nausea im ok. So its just my stomach getting back to normal.. if it continues for more than a couple weeks, might need muscle relaxers. We shall see

    Honestly i didnt try to drink at the hospital. I was afraid lol. But now. I can get down liquids with no problem. There is a little displacement of air and im fine.. i think im weird
