My husband gets irritated when i wont let him do certain things. Yes we are over weight and yes they may have to work a little harder or ask for assitance to keep parts "up" lol but they really dont mind. Not the ones closest to you anyway..:-) if he says it doesnt bother him, put your fav music on, grab some wine, a fluffy pillow lean back and let the great times roll! Speakinh from experience, ive learned not to deprive my mate due to my insecurities. Being apart of this site has given me much needed support and outlooks from other people. I am who i am and enjoy it. But i also enjoy exercising my right to choose was best for me. And in this case, lapband is where its at! Lol.. My husbands grandmother is the worst when it comes to "truth". She told me the other day that it looked like i was losing weight ( the gym paying off, yes!). Then she says " glad to see you doin something, you are the one who ate yourself that way"... and keys appeared in my hand and before i knew i was in my car?! Lol...my feet started moving and the rest of me followed. Sometimes people act like we all swallowed small elephants and became fat over night.... Welcome back mzyunique, From what I see all went well! Steelerfan- Hold in there. your answer will come. Try to occupy yourself with other hobbies, or like me, do some school work that I have been slacking on lol . At least you have completed the "jumping through hopps" phase. I think I tend to worry because I just want to make sure I completed all of the requirements. I am on the 3 month process and appartanly am the first that my surgeons office has dealt with. I tell you! Good luck and keep us posted.

Most dont gain weight in just one area. So after you have met you goal weight you might have less to worry about. For example, my goal weight is 160. I currently weigh 282. My stomach will hang so will my arms and legs etc. Stretch marks have ravished my body. Your body arms and legs and whatever else will more than likely retjrn to "normal" without excess skin... like you said in one of your previous posts, you dont have the flabbby arms etc..
