263 vs. 175

Hey all, I haven't checked in here for awhile. I'm not at goal yet either. Goal was to get to 165, as of this morning i'm 176 from highest weight Jan-10-2012 at 333 lbs.
Surgery was Feb-14-2012

I found the page, but it didn't look closed or private. I am just not ready to "come out" on FB. lol

That is ok, i think you just created a new account and we can add you as friend.
We can also create a group, where people can join in and will serve for help and support and everyone that joins the group will be able to see all posts and reply or whatnot, since if you have your own account and add friends, it's not easy for all the other people to interact together.
If you want i can create a closed group if everyone wants too

I'm thinking, we could create a private group, this means, no one can search for the group, only if people send link to other people, and no one can see your post other then members of the group. The topics, pictures, likes or whatever will NOT show up on anyone's timeline as it's like a "Closed Private" group.
There's not really a need to create a "New" or "Separate" Facebook acct for this, as we can all chat there, but depending on your own facebook security and settings, no one from the group can see your profile, unless people have their profile set up that anyone can see their profile.
This will just help as we can all go and support and help each other there, and chat, as most of us are prob more often on Facebook anyways!! LOL

Yes! I'd love if you'd do that! I have only told my friends & family about my surgery & do not want everyone I went to elementary school with to be able to follow the intimate details of my journey lol!! Again, I'm 1/28/12 but hope that you guys will let me in

I don't feel hungry much, i just feel when my new stomach is empty or i just know when it's time to eat something, but i don't get the same "hungry pain" as i used to before getting sleeved.
I also think i'm going to be a slow looser, i did loose 20 lbs 1 month before sleeved, and 20 lbs the first month sleeved, but the 2nd month, i have lost 11 lbs, so i'm hoping that i loose at least 10 lbs per month for a long time!! ) 10 lbs per month doesn't seem much, but in 1 year, it's still 120 lbs!

I had Vsg on 2.29.12! I'm dwn 26lbs. I work for the surgeon who performed my SX so I do have a little insight. Would love to chat!

Sleeve last week. April 10th but I still could use support as well.

better_life_ahead the idea of a closed FB account sounds like an awesome idea...........I will get started on setting one up........just give me a few days.
And yes this has been a struggle every day.......... I have good days, bad days and UGLY days and wounderful days.........HA!!!

I was sleeved 2/22 would love to talk with people that's going this journey nobody else knows what. I mean when I say things pertaining to my sleeve......

I got sleeved on February 28, 2012 and I'm looking for txt/email buddies. I have very supportive friends and family but would love to make buddies with people who are in the same boat as me lol. More relatable I believe.
I'm single and in my thirties too so lots of things going on and emotions lol.
