I don't have any kids but I am gonna look into it to see if New Jersey covers it. September will be here before you know it.

Anybody here from New Jersey that has Medicaid. Just want to know if they cover the sleeve, having a lot of issues with my insurance.

I was supposed to have surgery tomorrow, but my insurance has a pre-existing condition clause so I have to wait until December. I was looking forward to it, but I'm disappointed. I am going to try & stay positive & start working out, eating better & get my fiances in order. It just sucks because I was looking forward to loosing some weight. Just so sad!

What is your diet because I was started on one but I think it's unrealistic, my doc wants me to lose 30 pounds in 20 days

So my date is Aug 20 & the doc wants me to lose 30 pounds in 19 days, which is eating only salads & veggies. It's so hard! I feel of I was able to do this I wouldn't need surgery. I have to drink these protein things that are gross & made me sick, I missed a day of work cuz I couldn't leave the toilet. Has anybody else have to do this?

How long do you have to wait after surgery to take a shower? How about eat solid foods? Just curious, love my showers & don't like all liquid diets.

Is FMLA & disability 2 different things?

So I don't want to tell my job what I am getting done so I said I was getting hernia surgery so I wanted to know as far as the disability forms can I have my job fill out then my dr so they don't know what it was I am having done, I live in New Jersey. Any input would be great!

What is the pain like right after the sleeving? I hear from some pain & others say more like nausea, any input?

I really am leaning more towards the sleeve. I feel like that is what I need, a tool that will help, because I want to change my lifestyle. I am so tired of feeling hungry all the time even after I eat

I am not telling anyone but my mother. I am saying I am gonna have hernia surgery & I started a diet now so when they see changes it won't be so bad.

I weigh 430 pounds & the more research I do keeps me leaning towards bypass but I want the sleeve more, any advice?
