Upper GI was ordered before the positive h pylori. I don't recall any recent illness, i may have had this for a long time. I am a nurse and know a lot about this. One thing that irked me, my drs office called in for a PrevPac instead of ordering each medication seperately and in generic form. This PrevPac was OVER 500 dollars and my insurance would only cover about half. I refused it and will demand that it be ordered seperately and generically. If it was ordered as amoxicillin, metronidazole and prevacid otc, it would cost me less than 50 bucks. That's nuts. i am pretty mad.

Ust gojt my labs back. i have H Pylori! I never would have guessed. So 2 weeks of antibiotics and that's it. Luckily I cant finish my requirements until Sept 6 with my last Nutrition visit. Lets hope my Upper GI endoscopy goes well tomorrow.

Female perspective on this. i have lost 70 pounds. Needless to say, I had quite a cushion. Now, bottoming out is a common occurance. If it happens for us girls, its definitely going to impact the "usable length" on you guys.

If you do not want to go to Mexico, New York Eye and Ear hospital in Manhattan, is a world renowned for it's head and neck plastics, developed a cosmetic surgery fellowship that offers low cost surgery 3000-4000 per procedure. The surgeons are all board certified, have already done a plastics fellowship and have decided to super specialize in cosmetics. i had a breast lift for 3000 and a lower body lift (Full circumferance zipper) AND a Tummy Tuck for 3000. I did this after a big weight loss (that failed a year later) and although I have gained the weight back, I don't have saggy boobs or an apron. They did a phenomenal job.

Thought Id post a Picture of the difference...the left is Day b4 surgery (10/8/2012) at 267lbs and the right picture is from today(7/3/2013) at 189lbs ive lost a total of 111lbs though starting at 300lbs..lost 33lbs pre op!

Been very slow at losing the past few months.... all for very good reasons.... I'm 10 weeks away from delivering my sweet baby boy we have been blessed with. I have not gained 1 lb throughout my entire pregnancy. ... I have actually continued to lose! Can't wait to get in the gym and tone afyer I have the baby! Here is a preggo pic with my husband.

I had my surgery 10 months ago today, October 15, 2013 and haven't regretted it one single day since. I'm down 70lbs and have another 50 to get to goal! So glad I made the decision to save my life!

I am new to the site and researching WLS experiences.
I am kind of a pessimist. But, I am skeptical about the entire set of postings that I am reading.
How can someone that is so sick and ill from surgery almost write a book about it? If I were so sick, I do not think I can get my fingers to type 2 words.
I am curious why this member never mentioned a Surgeons name, or Hospital name. If she meant to get the word out about her horrible experience and surgery, it seems that most people would want to let the forum know the person/hospital who is responsible. But, no names are mentioned?
Also, why is the daughter still communicating and posting with people online on behalf of her mother after a year?
It seems the greif would be overwhelming and the account should be closed..
Some things just do not jive.. Sorry..
