  1. July 30th down 30 lbs. I see my doc tomorrow. I'll find out if my loss is on target. Fingers crossed, he doesn't get mad at me :-(
  2. That is great. It reminds me of the biggest loser finales.... The big reveals, where they break through the before weight loss pictures. Congrats :-).
  3. I was a size 6 4 years ago, therefore I have size 6 through 16 ready and waiting for me. Before my surgery I organized everything by size, so as I start dropping the lbs I can go shopping in my basement. :-)
  4. There is a tool bar on the bottom of the screen. Go to more and click on settings.
  5. Ooh I'm going to give this a try. Gotta love Costco. They have cases of Chobani Greek yogurt (cheap) that is high in Protein too
  6. So far so good. I have been sleeved for 6 weeks now. It is amazing how little I am able to eat. This is a fabulous tool. So where in Mexico are you getting sleeved?
  7. Hi Nurseghana, I was sleeved by Dr. Rantis out of the Kane Center.
  8. North suburbs here too :-)
  9. This is a very short easy read. I also passed it along to loved ones, so they would have a better understanding of what I would be going through. "The Sleeved Life" by Pennie Nicola
  10. Lost another 2 lbs. weight this week 227... I need to step up the workouts. Going to take the boxers on a walk and then swim 30 laps at the club.
  11. You will be back on your toes in no time. Hang in there. Recovery can be rough the first two weeks.
  12. Reading Designated Fat Girl now. It is very good. I can relate in so many ways to this woman's journey.
  13. Hi Nicksmom, I just saw you got your date. That is great! Keep me posted. Hope all is well. Sher
  14. Are either of you going to attend any of the post-op support groups?
  15. Greek yogurt Salmon Pinto beans with a dab of sour cream and a sprinkle of shredded cheese.
  16. I received my explanation of benefits in the mail today. The hospital billed my insurance $54,000.. That's a 2012 BMW M3 luckily I only had to pay $500 insurance, handled the rest.
  17. My husband brought me flowers tonight. When I asked what they were for... He said because I'm doing so well with my weight loss. Surgery July 30th down 30lbs... This made my day, as I have been in the dumps for losing so slow. Daisy's make everything better :-)
  18. I'm actually able to integrate dairy slowly now. I'm six weeks out. I've been eating a chobani yogurt every morning, and knock on wood, so far so good.
  19. I use lactaid because unfortunately I became lactose intolerant after the procedure, which I've been told is most likely temporary. Lactaid is a great source of protein.
  20. I hate the taste of muscle milk. Maybe it's just me but yuck!
  21. I'll have to think of that next time. I usually have the trucks come by my door. Darn my laziness :-). Congrats on the workout and ridding yourself of old baggage.
