I am 4 months post open and wondering how many calories I should be eating per day? What about carbs? My nut only talks quantity. Any help is appreciated.

I was sleeved 6/15 and I have lost 53 lbs since surgery and 76 total. I have been the same weight for almost 2 weeks. I hate stalling. My goal is to be down down to 200 by Christmas. I don't believe I will make it but I am going to try. If I keep stalling I will never get under 220. Thanks for all the encouragement I get reading your posts and say a pray I make my goal. I have been horrified this wouldn't work since I had the lapband first and it was a total failure!My son's wedding is Dec 22 and I also wanted to be in Onederland but its coming off really slow! This was a big decision and I too felt that momentary fear. I am so thankful for everyone on this site, for their amazing encouragement and support. I couldn't have gone this far without ALL the help.

I had lots of hair to start with but I can feel and see the hand fills I vacuum up after I do my hair. I guess we take the good with the bad. The good news so far is that it grows back! Looking forward to that!

HELP! I was sleeved on June 23 and my weight loss has virtually stopped! I haven't lost but a couple pounds in 5 Weeks. I am taking my Vitamins, working out, getting 60+ Protein, and trying to keep low carbs. I am exhausted from trying to figure it out! I am staying at around 700 calories per day and I can't figure it out! I also feel hungry. I can eat about a cup of food 3 times a day plus a couple Snacks. Any help would really be appreciated.

Help! I was sleeved June 2012. In the past 3 weeks i have been getting intense cravings! I feel hungry all the time! Is this what people call head hunger? I have no absolutely no problems with food so I am getting concerned. Is this normal? I have lost 45 lbs. In 15 Weeks and it seems like a low number. Any suggestions?

I was sleeved on June 26 I gave been in a stall for about 2-3 Weeks. Post-op I was 267. Now I am 222. I am still thrilled with the results but wish it was a little faster. I am able to eat anything but trying hard to make good high Protein and low carb choices. I so happy to read this forum, it's an amazing journey with AMAZING people!

I was sleeved on the 23rd and I have lost 34 lbs so far - all post-op. I have been on soft foods for about two weeks. I am able to eat pretty much anything but sticking to Protein and veggies. I am really excited for all of us!

Hey Sweetums, thanks so much for the words of wisdom and your encouragement. This morning the scale moved- FINALLY! It has gone up a couple of times since my surgery. Did that ever happen to you?

My guide says 4ozs 3 times a day, 60 grams of Protein, 64 ozs of liquid. I can only eat about 2-3 ozs at a time but within a couple of hours I am hungry. My doctor and nut say I need to eat only 3 times. Right now I am eating 4-5 times a day, getting my protein down and usually under 800. I don't have a problem with anything even though I am still sticking to soft solids. Am I doing something wrong? I have lost 29 lbs in 5 Weeks.

Can you guys tell me what your calorie or quantity daily limits are? What should mine be? Are we supposed to be counting carbs? I am 5 Weeks post-op. Sleeved June 23. Any info would be terrific!

My husband is 1week 2 days post op and he is taking in about 500 calories a day. He is getting in as much Protein as he can in his food' date=' Protein shakes and protein smoothies.Does this sound like he's on the right path???[/quote']
I think at this point, my nut told me that calories are not important, but he should definitely focud on getting as much protein as possible and that's hard enough.

Budget conscious? Find 2 or 3 recipes that use similar ingredients. Pick a day' date=' shop and cook all 3 recipes, freeze in portions. I use glass containers so I can put straight into microwave, but use freezer ziploc if u have to. Do this every week and you will build up a variety of healthy meals.Emily bites has heaps of cupcake foods, meaning foods you prepare in a cupcake pan do they are already portioned.
The world according to eggface has lots of wls friendly stuff.
Tonight I used pumpkin, spinach, ricotta, passata and leftover meatballs to make a baked ricotta dish. Will feed me at least 10 times and cost next to nothing.
Cooking in bulk is the best thing to do when you are money and or time poor! Lol[/quote']

Hi everyone! I need your help! I was sleeved last June and have lost 70 pounds. Originally 168. I let my work and personal life get the best of me! Any suggestions to get back on track? I am ready to recommit to my goal. I still have at least 40 to my goal weight. Your suggestions are welcome.
