  1. I'm not even near my surgery yet I i understand. Its hard trying not to use the excuse that until my time comes Im gonna eat what I want. I'm sorry your having a tough time and I hope that knowing that you are not alone helps you through
  2. I've been where you are too. I had 2 canceled(by the Dr.) appts and then she moved to an office soooooo out of my area. I'm waiting to get assigned to a new surgeon now. OMG so frustrating! I agree that it keeps you motivated to lose a few lbs to begin living and eating differently. BEST WISHES TO YA!
  3. Wonderful! Best wishes to ya!
  4. Youhave your mom with you and that the best feeling of comfort in the world! Best wishes to you.
  5. My Dr. is is Columbia MD and my forst appt is with her. I haven't done any of those things yet except diet and I was seeing a nutritionist. I was told that I had to see one of their so all of my appt with the one I was seeing are null & void. I won't find out who/what I need to do until my first consult.
  6. Hi! I know that has to be frustrating. Your way ahead of me though. I havent even met with the surgeon yet to find out what i need to do period. My first appt with her was resheduled. I think its great that you lost any amount of weight on your own so keep it up. You'll shed 15 lbs before you know it. Best wishes to you
  7. Hi Everyone! I'm about to begin my VSG journey on 7/16. Not the surgery itself but my first meeting with the Dr/Surgeon to talk about what I need to do before a surgery date is set. I feel like I'm at the back of a very long line at a crowded amusement park anxious to be at the front! I've been reading blogs about people who are a few days away before surgery and I am more anxious than ever to get there. I know that most people hate surgery of any kind but this is big deal for me as I am sure it has been for others. With that being said, can someone tell me what to expect at my first appt with the Dr.? Thx
