Hi Everyone!

I'm about to begin my VSG journey on 7/16. Not the surgery itself but my first meeting with the Dr/Surgeon to talk about what I need to do before a surgery date is set. I feel like I'm at the back of a very long line at a crowded amusement park anxious to be at the front! I've been reading blogs about people who are a few days away before surgery and I am more anxious than ever to get there. I know that most people hate surgery of any kind but this is big deal for me as I am sure it has been for others. With that being said, can someone tell me what to expect at my first appt with the Dr.? Thx

My Dr. is is Columbia MD and my forst appt is with her. I haven't done any of those things yet except diet and I was seeing a nutritionist. I was told that I had to see one of their so all of my appt with the one I was seeing are null & void. I won't find out who/what I need to do until my first consult.
