  1. So...,, I was in the grocery store and saw some "sugar free" ice cream. Have any of you tried it post-op? This would be perfect to get rid of my hormonal sweet tooth..... I'll be awaiting responses before I give it a try Sleeved 10/24/12 Sent from my iPad using VST

    Ice Cream!

I finally ate some of my sugar free ice cream and it was good. I agree that it slides down too easy, so I'm probably going to stay away from it for now. I'm starting to embrace my sleeve restriction, and I don't want to mess that up. Thank your for the advice. I am 6 weeks post-op and other than a few workers being way too nosy, things are getting better. Still struggling with Water/fluid intake but thanks to my liquid Protein I am able to make it through the day without feeling like I'm going to pass out. Sleeved 10/24/12 Sent from my iPad using VST

I have had a very hard time with Protein and my surgery fat was 10/24, so my doctor recommended Proteinex. I had it this morning and this is something that I can definitely do everyday. Sleeved 10/24/12 Sent from my iPad using VST

  20. My suggestion is to not weigh yourself until you get to the 2 week mark. After surgery you have lots of gas and swelling, so there is really no way to know exactly where you until some of has had the opportunity to leave. It may take several weeks for your diabetes to even itself out, your just had your surgery I think the focus should be on healing and staying hydrated. Trust me the weight comes off, we all have our different rates of weight loss. OAN: By the time you get to month 3, it seems that everyone has a significant loss! Something to look forward to.
