  1. Before I had my vsg I had 2 abdominal hernias repaired with mesh now that I've lost close to 100 pounds I've been feeling a pinching feeling where the mesh should be. Do you guys think it would be possible for the mesh to move or twist because of the weight loss this never happened before the surgery.

  2. Im in your same boat' date=' sleeved on Oct. 15th and barely eat anything but feel fine. Dr. said it was ok and hydration and Vitamins were important. So far 95lbs down....[/quote']

Oh wow awesome job you were sleeved 5 days after me! :)

  3. I am a little over 3 months out and that is about all that I can eat.. maybe even less if its dense Protein like chicken. My Nut has me eating 6 times a day.. 3 regular meals and 3 small Snacks otherwise I was only about to get in about 3-400 calories.

im going to try adding in a couple smaller meals throughout the day i definitely think that will help eating just seems like such a pain right now!

  4. Hi everyone I just had a quick question, im 11 weeks out from surgery and am lucky if i can eat 1/4 of a cup of food at a time im doing amazing with weight loss and everything but with only being able to eat such a small amount its pretty much impossible to get as much Protein as my surgeon would like soo my question is how much were all of you able to eat at like 2 or 3 months out, is a quarter of a cup not enough or am i normal and just worrying too much lol

  5. Hill I'm thrilled with the numbers on the scale and how my size 18 jeans are now fitting (down from a size 22/24)! But meals are hard for me still! Proteins like chicken and fish don't sit well still. Tiny bites. Chew' date=' chew, chew abd still after about 2 oz. I'm uncomfortable. I still drink a shake every day and I try to eat slowly-painfully slow! Still, I ferl like it's stuck. I know I'm not supposed to drink anything for an hour but Ifeel like a sip of Water helps the food go down. I told my nut and she said just to take it slow and make sure I get my Protein in. Just wondering how everyone else is faring.[/quote']

I'm the exact same way I've been doing thinly sliced lunch meats and cheeses they seem to go down a little easier but the stuck feelings almost always there

  6. So just out of curiosity once you're completely healed and a few months or years out of surgery how much can you eat at a time I've heard so many different things from a half a cup to 2 cups I don't want to go back to my old habits but it would be nice to know that I won't only be eating a half a cup of food for the rest of my life...
