  1. Ice for the first 48 bc the inflammatory process is in full swing. Heat may feel better for the moment but in the long run ice will be more beneficial. I used only ice and was up and at it after 4 days. The second day post op I went to a benefit for a good friend and stood for about 5 hours. The next day ice saved my life lol good luck

    New To This

I was banded only a week ago and have lost 10 pounds. This will work and the liquids are temporary. I know several ppl who have had this and all are doing well. There have been some ups and downs with them but it a process and takes time. Hang in there. We got this just remember how great we are going to look and feel soon!!!!!
  3. Wow you really opened up the conversation:) don't be too hard on yourself, you have others for that. Just remember what u went through to get this done and why u wanted to do it. Your brain and your body are changing. It may be a slow process but be careful not to hurt yourself with heavy foods. When you want to eat, walk away. Best of luck to you. Praying for you:)))))
  4. I'm only one week out and doing pretty well. I have been craving food for a couple of days but ince i drink a protein shake and walk away grom the kitchen i feel ok. I have got to get my brain in check and remember why I'm doing this. I am not going to torment myself if I make a bad food choice. I have made many over my 36 years. Now I have made the choice to control myself. I don't plan to cheat. I pray that I can do this with the help of others who know exactly what's going on in this hungry brain lol. Best of luck to all.
  5. I was banded in 6/7 and I've lost 10 pounds. looking forward to the rest of this journey!
