  1. You will be okay. Just try to think about the new you.
  2. Yesterday was the toughest day. I had one small episode of vomitting and my shoulders were hurting really bad. Plus I was feeling hungry. But I made it through the day and so far today is going pretty well. I start my full liquids today.
  3. Well I must say I did a lot of worrying for nothing. I arrived at the hospital at 6:30 am, registered, went right in the waiting operating rooms, they took my vitals, hooked up my iv, gave me meds, the surgeon came in and then the anteslogist (sp?). By that time it was close to 8 am, then they walked me to operating room and it was over by 10:30. I remember waking up and then I did an x-ray, then I urined, and my vitals were okay and I was released. I was home by 1:00 pm. I've been up walking around and I keep drinking lots of Water. I just tried drinking some broth and that was great. I am not in too much pain, just my shoulders feel sore and a little pain around the stitches. Otherwise, I feel real good. I've just been thinking how it's going to be for the full liquids stage next. Thanks for all of he support
  4. Thanks for all of the support. I feel better today and trying not to feel stressed out. My surgery is tomorrow.
  5. My surgery date is this Friday. I am feeling really nervous and afraid. I keep thinking about the risks associated with the surgery. Did anyone else feel this way? and What did you do to not think negatively?
