  1. Everyone loses differently, It will slow down even more the more you lose but still remember that you are losing the weight. I eat 6 small meals a day, just continue to focus on getting in your nutrients and if you are picking it up at the gym, make sure your protein consumption accounts for that! Good on you and keep up the great work!

    Monster energy drinks!

I drink sugar free. You should avoid carbonation for a while. In fact I shouldn't drink them at all but I don't drink coffee and I only drink the energy drink when absolutely necessary. I drank my first carbonated beverage about 8 months out. Again just because you can drink it, doesn't mean we should!!!
  9. My longest stall was three months. I lost my weight really slowly also. What I did notice was during a stall I would lose more inches, it's your body trying to catch up. So in a stall weigh every other week instead of each week and take your measurements weekly instead. Also usually when a stall breaks you lose more weight over the next couple of weeks than you otherwise would have. This is a long hard process, keep you head up, stay focused and it will happen. All you have to do is compare what you are eating now to what you used to eat. There is no way you could not lose weight!!!! I am here to help if you have any questions!

    And so it begins.....

I was Cruela by the end of my pre-op diet and it actually ruined the vanilla flavor for me. I had to drink three bariatric Meal Replacement shakes a day and one lean meat no card meal with veggies. The shakes were vanilla, now I can't eat anything vanillas flavored. Weird I know.

    Just approved and scared

I have PCOS as well, I would go through all of it again. I am so glad I did it. Everyone reacts differently. I was terrified it was my first surgery also. I can answer any questions about my experience that you may have.

    What’s Your Best Food Swap?

I miss pizza!!! But I make homemade pizza using a zucchini crust. I also do mashed cauliflower instead of mashed potatoes, I use non fat creek yogurt anytime something calls for sour cream or cream cheese. I also make veggie Pasta, and I use ground turkey anytime you would use ground beef.

    Husband left me!

Wow. I agree maybe try counseling if not, you don't need that kind of stress on you and you will have plenty to focus on yourself.

New at this but back in the Game! Houston, Texas

I love Houston! Congratulations on your weight loss, you should try one of the piano bars downtown. They are a fun time and the crowd is older than college aged.
