I have a very close knit group of friends and strong support system. I did have one friend who became very jealous and mean to me and we are no longer friends. The way I look at it, its a long hard journey that we are on and we don't need that additional stress. True friends will be there through no matter what, yes they might behave a little differently sometimes but they still have your back.

Make sure you are staying hydrated! Also like people have mentioned your hormones are going crazy. If it continues go see your OBGYN again.

It's the buyers remorse. I experienced this also. Just remember why you got the surgery and look at the progress you have already made. Surgery is hard on the body period. Everyone's body reacts differently and have different pain tolerances. This is a long trying journey both mentally and physically. Lean on your family and stay active on here to get the support you need. Follow doctors orders and try and stay as positive as you can!

That's very normal...in fact don't be surprised if you stall out soon. Just remember your weight stalls to let your body catch up. Just stick with your diet and do NOT weigh anymore frequently than once a week. -

Mine was how I looked in clothing. My goal weight was initially 150 then I moved it down to 135 and now I am 130. I was aiming for a size 12 I got down into a size 8. So basically the numbers meant very little to me in the end. It was mainly about how I looked in my clothes. -

They were not mentioned by my nutritionist either, when I found them I sent her the link and she approved and said they would be good. Everyone and every nutritionist is different. I have to drink the brands that are palatable or I won't drink them at all. Which that is the most important part, getting your Protein. I am almost 4 years post op and still drink a Protein shake every week day. -

I had to. I never made it though, seemed almost impossible. Just try and graze on protein packed food all day. Now I easily can eat my six meals and get all my nutrients. It takes time, just make sure you eat protein first!- 1 reply

This is fantastic! Keep that positive attitude bc it will get trying at times, but the positives far out weigh the negatives! Make sure you are taking pictures and measurements, and do NOT weigh any more frequently than a week at a time!
