Feeling defeated
Are you being mindful of your carbs? Protein shakes and yogurts have alot of carbs and sometimes too much of a good thing can be a disaster. Good luck, hope it gets better.

My First Fill
Don't be too discouraged, I got banded 11/23/11. I didn't get a fill for the first month either, and then it was still small steps. I'm only at 6.5 now, but I've lost 90lbs and don't have to go back anymore unless I have a problem. It's a slow process but absolutely worth the time put in. Congrats and good luck!

I'm considering surgery on my tummy since I've lost most of my weight. Can anyone tell me how much down time to expect?

Share You Weight Loss Please :)
Congrats, there are so many awesome changes in store for you. I agree with all the previous post, you have to put the effort in and do the work and eat healthy. It's so worth it in the end. I'm 7 months post op and am down 86lbs. Exercise is difficult at first but gets easier the more pounds you lose. I don't know where it came from but I have a little sign that says, "It doesn't matter how slow you go, you're still lapping people sitting on the couch!" Congrats again and good luck!

Day One Of Liquid Diet!
My surgeon and his nurses have all done the 2 week liquid diet with the Optifast so they could see what their patients go through. He suggested chewing gym because it seemed to help him and it seemed to help me too. Goo luck, you CAN do it!!!
