Good luck... I'm sure everything will be fine. Prayers for a speedy/easy recovery!

Well, I'll start by saying congrats on finally getting your surgery done! One thing done and on it's way... As far as the back pain goes, it's a slippery slope. I had a bulging disk and had surgery to correct it, I was "cured" so to say. On the other hand... My husband had the same thing and ended up reinjuring his back about 4 years later, another surgery, reinjured 6 years later, spinal fusion, he know has a failed back surgery and is awaiting a 4th much more intense surgery and he says he will not have it until he has no other choice. Can't say I blame him! So... To my point... He is now on pain Patches, which have been a God send and allow him to continue functioning without pain. But, he didn't get them without seeing a pain management doc who specializes in dealing with different types of pain. They might help you with your back pain and allow you to take one less pill.

Apparently my ice chips are making me nausea an you can't go home nausea. My doctor doesn't' date=' want me to dehydrate.[/quote']
Yeah that would not be good, I'd rather stay in the hospital till everything's good to go!

My hubby has been acting "off" for a bit now... Maybe he's feeling neglected too. I'm always on my phone either my fitness pal or this forum, if not that attending to our 4 yr old daughter. Thanks for us a look at the other side. I'll sit down and have a talk with him.

How are you. My name is Ebonni and I am in the process of deciding which surgery to have. The problem is at the bariatric center everyone has only has the lap band so they are a little bias. I have been told that your weight loss is limited. I was wondering what you experience was and the average weight loss.Hi there Ebonni... Feel free to snoop all around this forum, you will find tons of info and tons of awesome people to answer questions!

Hells yeah! Always great to hear these good news stories, especially where insurance is concerned!

My only concern with this it's that I take the pill due to my pcos. Otherwise, I would go forever without a period, which seems great but isn't as it just continues to build up as a super thick lining in my uterus which then leads to pre-cancerous cells forming: NOT GOOD! So I'm definitely gonna check this out with my docs. Thanks to the op cuz I never would have thought of this otherwise.

Yay! Great to hear you all are doing well! Keep us posted!

Also... You could try slow fe. It is time released so it is less harsh on your system. I can only use this kind because of all the GI side effects.

My thoughts were ketosis too. It can definitely cause awful smelling breath!
