Yes I am here due to complications with the sleeve. I have been so sick I couldn't hold food down and hard to swallow. I am pretty miserable now. They are putting a feeding tube in Monday...I'm. So unhappy

First of all is the vertical band the same as the sleeve? I started feeling that way about a week ago. I am now in the hospital. I may not be a good example.

Hey I was sleeved on May 29th. I am having trouble eating and drinking enough. I am so worried about protein, but I'm getting better everyday. It just seems I haven't loss much. I lost 20lbs and have been stuck here for a week. It seems since I only consume about 12oz of food a day I would lose weight purely based on that. It is very depressing. I can't eat... and I'm still fat. Can someone pls Help....!

So I'm back in the hospital. I started having issues on Friday that I started vomiting. So I wasn't able to eat or drink. My Dr. Admitted me. In the morning they are doing a procedure with putting a ballon down my throat so I can swallow. Any way I'm just miserable....

I am really happy to see the scale move. I am wondering when will I feel normal again? When will the pain stop? The area in my chest in the middle between my breast is sore pain full and feels like it moves when I'm laying down. Then the right side of my stomach is tender and sometimes feel like big knot. And When will I be able to eat? I am great with water and milk watered juice...(liquids) but I can find meal that I good with. So when (how long) when can I eat again?

Your stomach can hold about 3/4 cups of food or liquid. Normally you can only tolarate 2oz at a time. But 2 weeks out you shld be able to hold more.

I have learned that soy milk and 1%lactaid works for me with the protein shake. Also the colder the milk the better the shake. I started my shakes 4days post op.

I only told people close to me everyone else I told I had my gallbladder removed.(which I did) I really feel like its my business only. I know some people MAY support you but I perfer them to support the weight loss not the reason. I am currently 12 days after and fighting to eat soft food trying to get enough protein and water. I really don't have time to listen to potenial Nay sayers....Nope sure dont

Thanks a lot guys...just trying to make it. Fighting these mental cravings. Like ...I want a cheeseburger...the mind wants what the body can't eat.

I have what feels like spasms in my tummy when I eat or drink something. I also have the feeling in my tummy that moves it reminds me of being pregnant. Has anyone else experienced this weird feeling?
